Did i miss a pm?
I got an e-mail the other day that said new private message has arrived. When i clicked on the link the only message was an old one from april 25. I don't want to miss any messages we will be leaving soon & i had asked did anyone want a post card.

I think I can answer this question for you.

When you are in your Inbox for PMs you will see you have an Inbox, Sentbox, Outbox, and Savebox.

When you send a PM it is in your Outbox until he person you sent it to goes into their Inbox. Once they go into their Inbox the message you sent goes into your Sentbox.

When a message is still in the Outbox the sender can delete it.

So, maybe someone sent you a message and for whatever reason decided they did not want to send it so went in and deleted it. You would still get the email notification because that goes out automatically when the PM goes into the person who sent it's Outbox.
