I know this isn't a park question, but I wasn't sure where else to put it.
For those of you who have taken one of the cruises and have put your children in the Oceaneers Club, did you end up tipping the staff? Is it expected?
Thanks in advance for all responses.

Hi Philippe -
What a great question? I have no clue! How exciting for you to be going on a cruise! :)
I moved this question over to the Disney Cruise board -- they know lots of stuff about Cruisin'!
It will still show up in Park Talk -- they know lots of Disney Stuff!

I have never used the clubs/labs since I've never cruised with kids. Technically, the counselors are not tipped positions and I'm not sure if they are allowed to accept cash.
I have heard of people using prepaid phone cards as tips for these folks and others. These are appeciated because international calls can be quite pricey. Sam's and Costco have paks of 120 minute and 60 minute cards. At Costco they are $50 for 14 of the 120 minute cards.
I've also heard of gift cards for Wal-Mart or Target (both stores are near the port and crew members do make runs when they are here). I believe you can get these in any denomination - as low as $5.
