Good morning!

Have already been to Curves and really need to get the house cleaned up before Ali gets home. I will only get to spend a short time with her today, but do have some plans for her birthday. I will eat only a sliver of cake and make good food choices! No real goals today except to keep on track. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Enjoy the weekend ( I will try even though I have to work).

Good Morning Healthinators!

I'm here to and was even earlier but dtopped to make huge breakfast. Bethany and I are off to find shoes and a birthday gift for niece Jennifer who was 5 yesterday we will be eating cake and ice cream with her tomorrow! I need a new pair of brown "school" shoes and tennis to knock around in (old ones are to short feeling now!) Shoe Carnival here I come. No goals for today except behave myself in the snack department and try to eat smart (after that big breakfast I can't even think about more food). I might run depending on how I feel when we get home- rumor has it it's nippy out (I know it's windy).

Have a Magical weekend and enjoy the mother daughter weekend cshore and Alikat!

I'm here. I've had a crazy week. Had a team building event at work on Thursday followed by a going away party for my old boss. Was out until 4:30. Since I don't drink, I didn't waste calories that way; however, I had dinner at the Palm. Fortunately, we split 3 desserts among the dable (9 people); however, I was not good that day. Big work fair to support the United Way yesterday. Carnival foods -- I think I stuck with a cookie at the fair. That wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't had 5 cookies in the office before that.

We had a silent auction, and I spent WAY too much money. However, I got some REALLY good deals. It was definitely fun.

Goal now is just to get back on track.

Have a great weekend!

Hi BABES (and STUDLY):

Good afternoon! Got up earlyl to start baking 60+ cupcakes to bring to assisted living tomorrow for FIL's birthday. We'll put them at each place setting right before lunch is served. (We did this last year for a few holidays and some of the residents go around and eat up all the cupcakes before everyone else comes in so I make sure to bake twice what I need). The aides eat up the rest so they don't go to waste. Then I iced them and put sprinkles on (DH and I split only one sickly looking cupcake so that wasn't too too bad!). I used vanilla icing because I like chocolate!!

After that I had to clean up kitchen and do laundry - very little ironing and then made lunch (chicken salad sandwiches for both of us). Now I just got down here to check emails.

Goals:
Bake/ice cupcakes - done
Laundry - almost done
Iron (forgetaboutit)
DRINK WATER (haven't been good about that!!)

Yesterday I did my floors/bathrooms/dusting/vacuuming so I'm set for now
We put about 5 pumpkins in the front planting outside and I have my Fall flag up (that I always say I just LOVE!!). We bought it in Vermont years ago and if it ever wears out I'll go crazy finding something as pretty as this one. It has a red barn in the background and country road with fence and a pumpkin patch with bright oranges and trees with golds/reds/oranges. It dresses up the whole house for the Fall.

AliKat: Have a DISNEYTASTIC birthday today.
cshore: Enjoy her visit.
pixie: Hope you got your chores done so you could enjoy the day. It's a great Fall day here.
Pam: Hope you found your shoes. My S.A.S. walking shoes are pretty worn out and I need a new pair to break in before the Dec. DW trip!
Hope you get your run in. Dress warm.
Amy: I'm sure you'll get back on track. It's hard when there are events you have to attend that serve "forbidden" foods.

Have a great day all. Hard to hear down here. DH and neighbor are in workshop room next door with router. DH is learning how to use it on dining room table he's building for his son. Sounds like they're BOTH learning how to do it.

Later guys. Have a great Fall weekend.

I'm here a little late but I made it.

We just got in as we had football and soccer games today in the freezing cold rain with winds that put the chill right through you. So we're all home in comfy dry warm closthes and I think that is as far as we will get today. We're very much in need of a lazy day!

No walking today, tomorrow we do the Breast Cancer walk. I was so good last night at the tailgating party, and actually enjoy being good.

Hope you all have a great weekend! :grouphug:

Good Afternoon everyone!

I had a busy morning of ...... yard work. We are still cleaning up after the water pipe break in the front yard. We are celebrating DS's birthday tomorrow (really on Sept. 29th) so I have a lot to do.
Already made my goal with water now if I can just stay away from the junk.

I think I hear a nap calling me.

Have a magical day my friends!

:tink: Twirlegirl, I too just got up from a nap. I did get my Malibu 8) fix :sun: today but had back pain start while there & worsened as the day went on. I had to take one Vicodin when I got home & took a little nap & feel somewhat better.

Miss Molly McButter (10 year old Yorkie) came w/us. Tons of dogs in Malibu as always. They had a pie eating  thing & I avoided that! Phew! Then DH needed his coffee fix & while he waited outside The Coffee Bean I think it's called, I peeked at the menu on the wall & chose a yummy cold coffee toffee, I'm sure loaded w/calorie drink & then went outside. He was in line behind Kelsey Grammer & his gorgeous wife Camille! I didn't even notice the people in there when I peeked at the menu. Then, while we're sitting at a table outside & drinking our drinks, Carlos Santana :guitar: comes through!  8) Does it get any cooler 8) than that? Especially for my husband a fellow guitar player! I also saw, I think the guys name is Katzenberg go in the same coffee shop. I'll have to look him up on-line to be sure. Gorgeous day today! :sun: Nice southern California fall weather.

While we were drinking our drinks we struck up a conversation w/a guy at the table next to us & he does art type stuff for the studios & movies, like the crater in Armageddon (don't know about the spelling) & it turns out he needs a musician & he & DH exchanged information for something he's doing.

Molly loved all the other dogs & people loved her. She's around 8-9 pounds, actually big for a Yorkie, but her Mom, Susie is 10 pounds & Toby, her brother from the same litter is around 11 pounds is considered really big. They're too cute for words though. She loved it & her little nub of a tail was wagging all day. You should have seen this one Yorshire that must have weighed about 5 pounds, tiny, go after one of the Mountain Ridgeback male dogs! The big dog backed away & was wagging his tail! Really funny!

One of the stores there has all this really cool little kiddo clothing & such. I found this great cloth book about the Itsy Bitsy Spider story that I always did w/my kids & I can't wait to buy it for my next grandchild! DS & very DDIL are working on our next grandchild  and I've promised to not buy anything until she's at least 4 months along. She doesn't want to be jinxed. I just love the stuff in this store though. My DDIL wants a boy very badly as there hasn't been one in her family for years. She knows that my first choice if of course a healthy baby, but I'd like it to be female since we don't have one of them for ME! Both of my boys were going to be Kelly if they were girls. If DS & DDIL have girl her middle name will be my name, which is such a great sentiment. I actually wish they would name her Kelly though. I love that name. A female will be Isabelle & a boy will be named after her father, Joseph. She comes from such a great, close knit family. It's wonderful. I love her.

Ok, I lost ONE pound in the past couple of weeks. I hadn't weighed myself for a couple of weeks. I'm down to 133 pounds. I'm happy w/that even though I'd like to get to 125. But, I'm at a very comfortable weight. The 125 would give me a little wiggle room if you know what I mean. :mrgreenLOL:

So, we had a great day! Sorry about this epic post but it was an exciting day for us! Have a nice weekend all. And a big Happy Birthday to Alikat! :birthday: :present: I hope your day was great and of course you're excused from dieting w/a cake ahead of you! What's a girl to do? :cake1: :tink:
