Good Morning Healthinators!!! Happy Friday!!

Today is a busy one so I'm posting now and will check on you all tomorrow! I am back at the High SChool in learning Strats again and as it's Homecoming we have a Pep Ralley in the morning! I think the kids are going to be working on their presentations for their problem solving we did yesterday, so I'm taking extra "fun scissors"( different cutting blades) and some markers I have around the house! After school my plan is to stay in town and walk down town to Curves and back (parking my car near the football field right after school) and leaving it there so I don't get hung up by the Homecoming parade! Even though the parade uses the same road I have to walk down it will by much easier to walk back than try and get my car back north from down town during the parade. THe parade starts at 5:15 so I should have plenty of time and maybe some to waste! (I'll be parked in a shopping plaza- or what passes for a shopping area around here). I'll grab a burger from my friends the band parents and eat at the football game! After half time I need to boogie to the airport to pick up Mike (DH) and bring him home. The weekend is clear except for niece Jennifers birthday party Sunday Afternoon. MIke is always really jet lagged form these trips- especially since he only left for Australia last Friday (jet lag from both trips probably).

Goals for today:
Enjoy school
Curves/and walk
eat sorta smart (burger at the game- no chips ect)
no snackage (I've been bad at this this week)
Water (but the bathroom is soooo far away)

Have a magical day Healthinators and a magical weekend for those of yu that don't getr here over the week-end

Hi BABES (and STUD):

Nice to see you Ursulinda. Thanks for the quote.
Pam: Sounds like another busy day for you. Lots of activities at school and lots of exercise afterward. You certainly keep busy. A gal after my own heart.

Cool and sunny here so far. @#*&>$% Gosh darn bulldozer guy started his trucks 30 minutes before they are allowed to start construction but did not move the machine. He never did get in it yet and it's ten to 8:00!! Guess if they don't actually drive the bulldozers/trucks it doesn't go against the "no work before 7:00 a.m." law!!!

Today we take FIL out for his birthday breakfast/lunch. His birthday is Sunday but for whatever reason seems clear to him, he REFUSES to have us take him out on his birthday. So, we will take him where they serve breakfast all day so DH and I can have lunch. FIL does not get out of bed in time for breakfast where he is (he wants it brought to him but they won't do that) so he doesn't eat until they have lunch at 12:30. He will be 85 and he's back in a depressed mood which can last from a day to a week. He's been like that for years and years. He is without a roommate at this time as they ran out of men to put in there with him who he hasn't already thrown out. I told them to start putting a woman roomie in there and see how long they last!!

Paid my taxes yesterday so that's the spending until we go to DW in Dec!!! I made four Christmas plates so far and have four more glass dishes to work on for now. I'll fill them up with Christmas cookies/nutbreads and fudge.

I have to find out how to get to the outlets near DW to try and buy some t-shirts etc. as gifts for grandkids for Christmas and maybe mail them from Florida. Our Disney store has absolutely nothing for adults anymore and not very many clothes for children either. It's a shame. I had hoped to buy things there to send to the boys as gifts before we left for DW.

Goals:
Take FIL out and try to stay cheerful no matter what.
DRINK water.
Eat light.
Vacuum/dust when we get back.
Start looking for Fall clothes (I have a feeling I threw out most of the old, old ones last year and that not much is left downstairs - oh, oh!!).

Have a great day all.

Good morning Healthinators! Checking in from school so I will be brief.

Ursulinda! Great to see you. Keep up the good work!!!
Bookwood- I get tired just reading about your days. Have a nice weekend with your hubby.
Cinderella- Your FIL sounds like the two roomies my dad had. They wanted to be alone and my dad was an intruder. It's too bad they can't let those that would prefer to be alone have a single room. Have a great day!

Today I will

Eat healthy
Drink only water
Get in three miles and get ready for training next week

We CAN do this! We WILL do this! It WILL be worth it, you'll see.

Good morning to you all.

Lots to do today. Didn't get half of what I planned accomplished yesterday, so that means it must be done today.

I did get our flights booked for the marathon so that is a weight off my shoulders. Airtran had a good price so I just booked it. Now I hope it doesn't interfere with any of Ali's plans. We are also planning on trying to get over to Universal for a few days. Now to wait for the AP rates to come out. I am hoping that they will be good. I would love to stay at the Swan or Dolphin, but we will probably stay at a moderate.

I wish you all a wonderful day filled with happiness and success.

Goals
Curves - done
Water
Clean something, not just think about it
Pay bills- done (the car insurance was a killer!)
Smile and enjoy the gogreous day
Eat smart and make good choices when I go out to eat tonight

Good Morning!

I sort of had my surgery yesterday. Sort of? Yes, sort of, the doctor open the area and closed right back up. He was expecting to see a cyst but instead found a bone lesion. I was sent for xrays immediately. I don't know what it all and won't know until next week when I see the doctor again. Nothing is easy around here.

I'm a little down but will focus on my goals for today.
Drink 56 oz of water.
Eat healthy on SBD

Have a magical day my friends.

Okay. I will bite! I know I haven't been around too much lately, but Lime Green Cheri what is a mystery reader?
I am picturing you hiding behind the book with a large floppy hat and a pair of big bug eyed sunglasses reading to a group of 3-4 year olds!
My youngest has the Scholastic Book Fair going on at school his afternoon, so I have to run up and pick a few out with him.

Yes Pam, I WAS on Vioxx and I was going to ask the doc to go back on it at my visit next week. I saw the headlines online at CN8. Great huh? I wasn't on it for very long and now will have to ask the doc for details. I can't believe I finally find a medicine that actually took away the osteoarthritis pain and some pain from the fibro and it causes worse problems!!! Typical. It also shot up my blood pressure and swelled up my legs so that's why doc took me off.

Time to go out back and dig up roots and pick berries and eat them for a cure!!!!

Thanks for the info.

ROFLOL. Sorta! The kids knew somebody was coming to read them a book today, they just didn't know who. The kids get so excited when they see it is their mommy or daddy coming to read. Ethan has talked about it all day! I was a hit if I do say so myself!

Hi all! I'm been off-line at home for days because I tried to hook up my other computer to access Word. Didn't work out. Couldn't get rehooked up correctly today until almost 7PM. Grrrrrrr....

Maintaining my weight. Drinking my waters & eating smart. I don't have time to read all the posts. PD to all in need & those that simply want it. :D Yesterday wasn't sunny for the first day for me since being in California & today the sun didn't come out until after lunch! What's up w/that?

I'm so glad to be out of Florida & now Washington, but I have a feeling that a big earthquake is on it's way. I will feak out...
