Greetings, Couch Tag Taters! 8)
Remember those favorite game shows before Reality TV overshadowed them? One of my favorites was Match Game. A big Dating Game kiss for your favorite!
Edited to remove a dated announcement.

Can I be a couch tag tater even if I can't get to my couch because of my leg pain?
Gosh, I went through a period when I just loved game shows...about 30 years ago, LOL!
Jeopardy, Hollywood Squares, and The Price is Right! Let's Make a Deal! And does anyone remember way, way back to Concentration? I loved that one, too!
Gosh, I haven't watched a game show (not even Millionaire except at WDW) since college. Moley, I belong to a class of people so lazy even using the remote control is too much work.

To all Couch Tag Taters--
Has anyone caught the bloopers or outakes from the game shows that has been airing recently. I caught a repeat of one this weekend that I saw a few months ago.
Gut wrenching funny! I will admit--I felt "old" watching them. Bob Eubanks was the host.

I saw one of those blooper shows that Bob Eubanks hosted. It was hilarious!
My kids have gotten hooked on the gameshow network this summer. I'm shocked at how much they like it. Eric rattled off about a dozen game shows he's seen, while we were at dinner last night. See if his list conjurs up any memories.

I used to love game shows when I was a kid (and all those sexual innuendos went totally over my head).
I fondly remember: Family Fued, Name that Tune; Hollywood Squares; Price is Right and I loved it when they got to go shopping on the Newly Wed Game!
There was one game that was my favorite but I can't remember what it was called. At the end of the show one contestant got to "run the gauntlet". Anyone know what that was called?

I love game shows! Have always wanted to be on one.
Can anybody tell me the name of this old game show? It's been driving me bonkers. I don't honestly remember much of the show, except that there were a bunch of numbered boxes sitting on the stage, and contestants would walk up the stairs into the display of boxes and pick out the one(s) they wanted. I think some of them had zonk prizes (like Let's Make a Deal). I don't remember how many they got to pick, or what determined how many they would get. Great memory, huh? LOL
Anybody?

Barb, the Whammy show is Press Your Luck. It is on the game show network, and they even have a new and updated version.
Sandy, I remember that show you are talking about. It was very fun to watch. What was the name of that one? :?

Many, many years ago Wheel A Fortune used to make the players buy prizes with the money they won. Oh how I loved that and I think that started my shopping addiction. And I can remember watching Let's make a deal and think what I would put in my purse if I was ever on that show. LOL And when the GONG show came out I can remember how my parents thought it was so out there. LOL

Favorite game shows....Love Connection, Press Your Luck. I even like Weakest Link, although that woman is pretty mean. I think there's a "Survivor" element to that show, because the contestants vote each other out of the game. Price is Right, in its prime, had some really pretty models. Love Jeopardy! esp Rock & Roll Jeopardy! cause I can answer a lot of questions. I think the answer to Sandy's June 20 post on this topic is a show called Shop Til You Drop. I'm not a shopaholic like some of these Taginators, but if you get me into a CD store, I'm in a lot of trouble.

Jokers Wild was my favorite gameshow growing up. I loved to stay home sick. I'd watch Brady Bunch, I dream of Jeannie, and Gilligan's I sland reruns on TNT and then switch over to Jokers Wild in the afternoon. Yes, I was a strange child
