Morning BABES

It's kind of dark and gloomy outside so far. Not sure if we'll see sun today!
I'm writing a quick note so I can get moving and get to church.

Guess what? I SLEPT, I SLEPT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:chorus:
(Halleluia chorus!)

I did what I said I would do. I did not exercise or eat or drink anything before bedtime.I took my shower and I read in bed awhile and DH was in den watching a Notre Dame football game. DH came back to room to sleep and I put on the noise machine and we both fell asleep and STAYED ASLEEP!!!!

DH is still sleeping so I'm downstairs checking posts before I get ready to go. So, one night down, 364 to go! I wasn't sure if I would wake up or not during the night as I used the "babbling brook" sound and you know what the sound of water does to you while sleeping.

Anyhow, feel good and hope I've started a long run of sleep.

Not much going on here. DH actually got a walk in last night - FINALLY!
:walk:
It was sooooooooo boring here all weekend. We have not seen or heard one neighbor. We see lights in houses but no people - kind of spooky. Anyhow we finally got up and got a walk in. It was only about 1/2 mile (and we finally ran into another neighbor couple from around the corner) but it was a new start. I really have to get my sleep, get a new pair of S.A.S. walking shoes and get my walking in so I'll be in better shape for DW. I am just pretending there are no aches and pains and will try to "wish them away".
:tink:

ONE GOAL TODAY:'
Go over itinerary one more time for DW trip and have my info all ready and sitting by the phone for first thing tomorrow morning when I can call in my PS ressies!!!!
:theWave:

Have a great weekend BABES (and kindly STUD Ronski)
Still keeping all the Florida Taginators in my prayers until I hear they are all safe.

Good morning

Cinderella, I am so glad you got some sleep. That should make for a good day for you. Our weather from yesterday must have moved your way...sorry. I have a sound machine and I wouldn't get a minute of sleep without it. Glad it worked for you.

Today I must hit the mall and not come home until I have some clothes for the cruise. I can't believe it is just 2 weeks from today!!! I still need to book some shore excursions, but will have to check with my mom to see what she is feeling up to. I know we will do a whale watching/glacier tour/salmon bake. I would also like to do a bear watching tour, but that involves some hiking. The floatplane tour into Misty Fjord sounds like a lot of fun too. There is so much to choose from that I don't even know where to begin except with the realization that I can't do it all! I have to decide today.

Goals for today
Walk
Shop
Water
Book those excursions once and for all
No Curves today :(
Good food choices with portion control
Prayers for our Fla. contingency

Good Morning all,
Prayers all day for the folks in Florida (including Mom and Dad). I have to be short cause I have to get dressed for church also! (I'm glad my winter clothes don't fit- but it is a quandry getting dressed now). No major plans for today (I hope- I never know what's on DH's mind). Maybe a trip to see Princess Dairies 2 with DD'd 2 and 3!

No Goals Today!

Make today Magical WHatever happens (it's all a point of view)

Good morning all. I stayed up until after 2 am watching CNN and keeping up with Frances. Keeping Ronski, Figgy and all in Florida in my prayers. I'll take a snowstorm anyday compared to what those folks are dealing with.

We've got a busy day planned here, and we are going to fit a long walk in the plans!

Claire, I'm glad you got a good nights sleep. Hopefully it will continue with your new sound machine.

Cshore, I wanna be like you, you are my travel idol! :notworthy: Can't wait to hear all about your cruise.

Bookwood, What a great feeling that your winter clothes don't fit. I'm hioping to need some new ones soon too.

Maryyy, I'm so glad you're posting again. And congratulations on your weight lose! You are doing great!

I have two days left to my summer vacation, I'm going to make them fun! The sun is shining and it is gorgeous here again. I hope you all have a great, safe day today! And I'm looking forward to hearing from our Florida friends to know they are all safe! :grouphug:

:tink: Morning Gals! :deepSleep: Just woke a few moments ago. Sheryl, I too am thinking of our Florida buddies getting slammed once again in less than a month & keeping them in our prayers. :grouphug:

Claire, isn't it amazing how you feel after a good nights sleep? It's a woo & hoo celebration. I hope it keeps up for you. I also love those SAS shoes. I used to be able to wear anything for eons & then had plantar fasciitis...ouch :!: and six months of cortisone injections into the sides of the soles of my feet & in-between my toes finally broke the worse of it, but can no longer wear "cool" shoes. 8) They have come out w/more stylish shoes over the years though.

cshore, you are a traveling demon. Have you ever thought about being a Travel Agent? Maybe you should...when you retire from all the peoples' lives you touch everyday at being a nurse. It's a great feeling to have to go buy new clothes for your shrinking figure.

Bookwood, you too on the shopping for new clothes for your shrinking self. It can be a dilema when you are trying to figure out where to start. Save the panties for last. I hate spending money on panties.

Today, I think I'll probably start out w/a regular helping of Cream of Wheat & of course I'll start my water... Not sure about what I'll do the rest of the day food wise, but I'll "Eat Smart". We're hoping to go to this free concert tonight in Woodland Hills, Ca w/the lead singer from Three Dog Night singing. I had heard that you have to get there early to get parking (free at a local mall there) and get a good seat.

So, that's the plan. :waving: Have a great day everyone. Still keeping our Florida buddies in mind w/prayers & positive thoughts. :tink:

Good day to everyone.
I was up early but was getting ready for a yard sale. We sold $80.00 worth of junk and belleive me it was junk. I have a big pile of free stuff on the side of the road and I'm hoping someone comes and takes it away.
I'm really proud of my self . Mark went to McDonalds for breakfast and I didn't get anything. I had my usual bowl of cereal and fruit.
My goals for today are
Water
Thats it after all it is sunday a day of rest.
