We leave a week from Friday. So glad my cruise is not this Friday or it would be cut short. Looks like I will likely miss Castaway Cay (if it gets hit like it looks like it is hit). Worrying about my vacation is so trivial given the people whose home is in the path; however, I am a bit concerned.

Keep your fingers crossed.

I certainly understand Amy. :( There is just so much concern for all those people living and visiting Florida, that is seems selfish to worry about an upcoming vacation. Even so, its something you have been planning and dreaming about for ages, and its not easy to completely overlook your personal situation.

So, I think its more than fair to send prayers and good thoughts for everyone affected by this terrible storm. And Florida will need every tourist it can get to help finance the repairs for any damage this storm may do. Once things are declared safe and ready, it will again be 'business as usual'.

In the meantime, prayers to those dealing with the here and now. :angelPray:

I've been thinking about you, Amy. I know our first concern is those currently in the path of the storm, but it's also perfectly understandable to be disappointed that something you've planned for may be altered. It looks like DCL is doing a great job at making this all work.

I'm still praying for all those involved, and hoping that you have a wonderful vacation as well. :D

I was thinking about your trip in all of this, Amy. You have a good attitude. I do agree with Tag that it is only natural to worry a little and be a bit disappointed. I know that in your heart you are thinking of all those people who are suffering first. I hope you and your family will still have a nice time.
