:tink: Happy Friday before our Labor Day Weekend!! Yay! I hope everyone is motivated! I hope I don't misspell anything as I have insomnia & don't have my glasses on.

8) It's supposed to be a beautiful :sun: day here today & through-out the weekend. I'm excited about the weekend. :D DH isn't yet scheduled for the weekend. :D I'm hoping it stays that way, but he's so new that sometimes they call him a half hour before he needs to be there because they know he's next door & he's asked for all the hours he can get. Once he's there a certain amount of hours he'll qualify for the benefits. I'm sure that Time Warner have much better benefits that I could get regarding Health Insurance.

Plan today is to do my regular work & drink my water at work. No problem. It's a small office w/the water cooler right there w/us. :D

I haven't been making my chicken salad as of the past couple of days & it's simply because I'm lazy & tired this week. But, I have brought the chicken w/o the sald & that's good & it fills me for the day.

For dinner I'll have my four little California rolls. Then I'll be a happy settled (food-wise) girl. :D

Plan so far for the weekend is Malibu Beach for Saturday. DH can call work just before leaving to ensure that he isn't expected for anything & we'll have a fun day!

Sunday night there's a free concert in Woodland Hills w/the former lead singer from Three Dog Night. He's a great singer & co-workers have advised me to get there early & where I can park for free. DH should be able to go if he isn't called in. I wonder if the full time regulars grab the holiday weekend pay? Maybe. If so, then we'll be spending it together. I really would like to go to both of these events w/or w/o him. Preferably with. If I don't go, I'll get depressed since I don't know many people & I don't want to be home alone.

Monday is open & may end out being Malibu again or something else that may come up.

Let's remember to keep all those in Florida in our thoughts & prayers. Praying the grid lock starts flowing smoothly & that the storm decides to take a turn out to sea & doesn't hit land. :fairylove:

Have a great Friday & weekend ahead everyone. :waving: :tink:

Morning BABES:

Hi Tink, Hi Chris:

(Just want you to know that my new avatar looks EXACTLY like DH and I! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!)
:nahnah:

Got up early but I think I got some sleep last night. Halleluiah!!!
  :chorus: :chorus:

Watched my birds awhile (have gorgeous colored finches and warblers this year). Construction crews arrived about 6:15 a.m. Had my blood work yesterday and nurse left message that potassium levels good, kidney's good, keep on the blasted water pills (do they make beds with potties built in so I don't have to get up all night?)

I've been working on my itinerary for DW trip (what a surprise!)
I'm trying to keep it easy and allow time to get back to WL to rest (yeah, right! Me rest?). We can decide day-by-day how much or how little we want to do depending on how this old lady holds up. Just want to get the PS ressies all set to call in starting Monday!!!!!
:minnie: :mickeyXmas:

Tink: Enjoy Malibu and that concert. It sounds like you have so much going on around you that you can take advantage of. Wish we did. I'm still looking for shops here where they sell something other then flannel shirts and coveralls for women!!

Chris: Enjoy having Ali home for the weekend. I know you'll be happy. Pat Roxy once or twice for me too.

To all the rest of the BABES (and sweet, caring, adorable RONSKI), have a great weekend.

Those in Florida: We will keep you all in our prayers until this storm has passed. Please remember my son also who is out on the barge in the Gulf of Mexico, hopefully far enough out that the storm will not effect them while they work and if it does, pray that the people in charge have enough brains to bring the crew in to land (Louisiana).

Good Morning.
Well, here we are, instead of winging our way to Florida.

I can't mourn my lost vacation, in my gratitude for a safe home far from the storm, and my concern for our friends, family and beloved WDW in Florida.

Hard to think about diet, but I find, although stressed, I didn't even think about stuffing my face with forbidden goodies.

Be safe! PLEASE BE SAFE!

Good Morning Healthinators!!

I'm checking in from school- it was a quick morning at our house as I had dto be here by7:20am after dropping Bethany and friend off at the High School. Weather here look icky I hope I can get a run in after school. I saw niece Kelsey here today and volunteered to give her a lift home (after picking up Bethany) since we'll have to drive past her house to go and pick up niece Allison and nephew Sam at their school after school today! The kids are all part of the youth group from church heading to Cedar Point very early tomorrow (all except Sam) who is staying home (too young). When I get home I promised to make rice krispie treats and brownies for the kids to take with them. After I'm done with the cooking maybe I can get a run in...if not I'll be sure to get out over the weekend!

Goals for taoday:
Eat smart
Water
no snacks (really helps to be at school for this one)
run
finish all the stuff after school
get "wife beaters"(mens t-shirts) for Bethany

Have a Magical day all !!!

Good Morning to everyone and Happy Friday!!

It is so hard to beleive it is so gorgeous here today when Florida is getting hit. My thoughts and prayers to all there for safety. Rosebud any word on Valerie, did she stay put? Ursulinda, I'm sorry you had to cancel your trip, but I'm glad to kow you'll be safe. And Tinkerbell, I ahd to laugh, you typing is 100 times better than mine wihtout your glassses! I'm the worst typist.

My Aunt kept the boys overnight last night, so Terry and I had a nice evening together alone...very rare for us. So polans for today are to go back to my aunts house, where the kids are swimming in their new beautiful huge pool (Guess what my boys want now?) and we'll just hang out there. Then this evening we ahve our block party at our neighbors house, and we normally eat and drink well there (nice that we can drink and walk home), so I probably won't be good. Only thing I have to fit in is my walking sometime today.

Todays goals:
drink water
make smart choices tonight
walk sometime
NO hangover tomorrow! We have such a blast, just sitting around talking with our neighbors and for some reason the drinks are easy to drink, so I need to watch it. And I'm NOT normally a drinker.

Stay safe, and hopefully everyone will be able to enjoy their weekend.

We may need to change the name of this room, in Ronski's honor.

Oh and just to clarify, Claire and Ronnie are even better looking in person! She is so cute!
