Resorts – Coronado Springs & Animal Kingdom Lodge

Tuesday June 3rd – Going Home & Final Thoughts

Again no wake up call today  , as we did not have a set time that we needed to be on the road. I enjoyed one last morning of watching the animals from our Balcony. I cannot thank the night manager at AKL enough for upgrading our room :present: . It was a wonderful gesture on his part but I still say you do not have to have a Savanna view to fall in love with this resort. There is so much beauty at Animal Kingdom Lodge that while the Savanna view is nice it is not necessary in order to enjoy your stay.
We had taken many items to the car the day before so all that was left this morning was a suitcase for each of us. We left about 10am & arrived back home just before 5pm. The drive was only hampered by rain for about 1 ½ hours although from the amount of time it took to drive it must not have hampered me too much  .

Final Thoughts

· Then end of May is a great time to go weather wise. It is hot but usually not as humid as the rest of the Summer & the rain is usually much less than in June.
· This was probably one of the best trips Matt & I had. After the 1st 4 whirlwind days we slowed down & enjoyed spending time together, with our Disney buddies & just enjoyed Disney.
· If you take friends with you TALK about the trip prior to leaving. My biggest mistake was not insisting that my friends help or be involved in the planning. Things such as eating habits, food budget & sleep habits should be discussed. Discuss splitting up to eat if food budget or food choices are different at a meal.
· Enjoy the free entertainment that the Parks have to offer.
· If you know that some of your fellow Disney Internet friends are going to be there plan a mini meet. These meets are great fun & you never know you may meet your new best friend there :circle: .
· Strike up a conversation with fellow Disney visitors; it may just get you an upgrade at your Disney Resort.
· Strike up a conversation with fellow Disney visitors; you may learn something about people from other states or countries.
· Strike up a conversation with Disney Castmembers; many love to share their love of Disney with you.
· Enjoy the Magic!
