We slept in today with no call from Mickey. Breakfast was at 11a in The Mara Food Court ($11.11). I must say I enjoyed The Mara, they had a cross between basic Food Court Food & a bit more upscale choices also some with a slight African flair. Our plan this morning was to ride our favorites at Magic Kingdom. Boy when we walked outside did we notice that it was June. It was very humid today. The weather on this trip had been near perfect but yesterday we noticed a bit of a change & today it had gone from very low humidity to noticeable humidity. We also noticed that crowds at Magic Kingdom had grown – OK it was downright crowded. After a few hours of too many people & too much humidity we decided to take the monorail to Epcot. I just love riding the monorail through Epcot – it is so cool to be able to see the entire Park from up above 8) .
We actually just rode the monorail to see Epcot from above we did not go into the Park as we planned on going there again tonight. We headed back to the room to try to pack some more & to take some items to the car that we would not need that night. After a bit of a rest it was off to MGM one more time to of course play WWTBAM – Play it. Again Matt was in the Top 10 but did not make it to the Hot Seat. This was also the first trip that we had a woman as the Host. Her name was Tracy & she was really very good, we usually have a Host we have nicked named Smiley because he has this HUGE smile with lots of teeth. I am sure many of you who have been in the last year have had Smiley :D .
We head back to the resort to pick up our car because tonight we were eating at Beaches & Cream at The Beach Club. We lucked out tonight and got a table right away. This is really a great place to eat but they sure do need to expand, I had not noticed before just how few tables there were inside until this trip. Of course we had to have burgers & Matt had to have a Chocolate Shake. It was great, a bit expensive for Burgers, a shake & a Coke ($27.00) but good nonetheless. The walk to Epcot is nice after eating a big meal :treadmill: . Tonight we focused on just enjoying World Showcase. There is truly so much to see here with the talking to Cast Members, the shopping & the entertainment. Tonight I also had the pleasure of seeing The Buckingham’s perform as part of the Flower Power Concerts :flowers: . They were wonderful! I grew up listening to Disco but as I had older brothers & an older sister I did listen to quite a bit of music from the 60’s also. If you ever have the chance to hear The Buckingham’s go and enjoy! Our last bit of Epcot & Disney was Illuminations, what a way to end a wonderful vacation  . Now back to our car at The Beach Club & back to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We spent more time tonight walking around the Resort & even enjoyed seeing the animals through the Night Vision program AKL offers each night between 9pm & 11pm . This is a really cool thing to do but they only have 1 pair of the goggles so you really do not have much time to enjoy before you have to give the goggles up. Finally back to the room & sleep  .
Tomorrow going home & final thoughts
