Robin,

It may be a good idea to finalize by early September. We are hearing that Mousefest registration (those saying they are planning to attend) is going much faster than last year.

Last night I heard that over 200 people are already registered as officially coming to Mousefest...and it's only early August.

MikeS

How does one officially register? I signed up for the email announcements. Is there something else I must do in order to be
officially registered?

Hugs,
Carrie

That's all I know about, Carrie. Of course, there are a bunch of them that are doing the DL land/sea cruise, so that accounts for many registered people too.

And then there will be sign ups for the various specialty things, like Illuminations cruises.

And then there are the Tagrel Meets here.

The OFFICIAL registration site is for anyone and everyone who will be attending. They want a total count, so they can better plan for next years meet. See if this link works-- http://www.passporterstore.com/gathering.htm
You can sign up there  I'm on page three, look me up!

Here's the full AllEarsNet info page on MouseFest:
http://www.allearsnet.com/btp/mousefest.htm

And here's the official signup form on Passporter:
http://www.passporterstore.com/gathering.htm

Deb Wills of AllEarsNet and Jend and Dave Marx of Passporter are the main organizing forces behind Mousefest, which is why all of the official stuff is on thier sites. But they've recruited a bunch of other webmasters and guidebook authors, including our own Tagrel, to host events and help in the planning.

Last year's Mousefest MegaMouse Meet had 200 or 300 people attending, and I think this year will be even bigger.

WDWDEN- I clicked on the address and got an email. Is this correct?

Willcad- I signed up on Passporter site a week ago and have not gotten any confirmation. Am I doing this right?

I'm confused. But, so what's new.

You don't get a confirmation when you sign up. The signup form is just a way for the organizers to get an idea of how many people are coming, pretty much like the threads we use to sign up for meets here on Tagrel.

Actually last year's Mousefest count was close to 470 people not including the greeters, webmasters, leaders, and guidebook authors.

I'm guessing we'll go over 500 this year.

There were THAT many people in that room?? Well, I guess people were in and out. :confused2: If every person bought one of those soda's, they could rent out the MK for this years meet! ;-)

That's over the course of the three hours Den. I think you were there later in the day.

I'm bringing my own soda this year :spit:
