Goooood Morning!
After a long, hard working weekend, I'm tired, my allergies are acting up and I'm feeling a bit off. I'm sure the DQ sundae I had yesterday didn't help even if i substituted it for a decent dinner. I won't do that again for a very long time. So it's back to basics for me today.
Goals:
Water, water, water
SBD
I hope everyone had a great weekend and have a magical day today.

Morning HealthiBABES:
Got up early and took my shower and got dressed all ready for "boobie squshing" day. Drove down to medical center, waited my turn (even though I "pre-registered" like they ask you to do). Finally got called up and girl is looking at computer, looking at my paperwork, looking at schedule and finally says, "you're not down to have a mammogram today!". I politely tell her I have my registration number right on my papers from doc. She said she saw the registration number but when the girl who makes appointments called, she gave me date and time but never put it in computer so I did not exist!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Could have actually slept later. So, could go tomorrow same time or go back today at 3:30 pm. I decided to go today and get it over with. Wasted morning.
Other then that, the sun is out, it was 57 degrees when I left this a.m. for appointment. Sun is getting stronger but it feels like a Fall day.
:sun:
I picked up three small mums to put out in front garden (I think the resident hawk we've had around lately has taken care of the "plant-eating" rabbit situation. No plants have been eaten in about 2 weeks. Got more birdfood at Lowe's so I'm set with food for "Alcatraz Island" for a little while. Since we are one of the few who feed the birds, they must have spread the word to their relatives. WE have hundred here each day. I don't get the birds like I had on Long Island and I REALLY miss my favorites: chickadee, titmouse and nuthatch. We have mostly sparrows and house finches and yellow finches and warblers and robins and mockingbirds and catbirds and mourning doves and of course, MY HUMMINGBIRDS were here for the first time this year. Guess I'd better have the bird food delivered by truck this winter.
Goals:
Plant mums
Laundry (but only a little)
Get back to the health center for mammogram (Oh how I LOVE having that done - Don't You?????  :woot: :banghead:
Answer some mail
Re-re do schedule for Dec. trip
Pray to the AP gods at DW for WL rates to come out :notworthy: :notworthy: :angelPray:
Look at bills again and make more neat piles until next week
Hopefully get to gym tomorrow or get DH to walk with me today
Have a great day all. I'll check back later.

We are all wiped out after a busy weekend, and the boys are still sleeping. The hosue is cleaned and the laundry caught up, so today will be a scrapbooking day to try to get more of our trip done. Other than Physical Therapy, football, and the marathon chat tonight we've got nothing else planned. A rather quiet day, is what we are going for.
Todays goals:
drink water
make healthy choices
enjoy
I have to go into work tomorrow and Wednesday for a few hours, so we are easing back into our Fall schedule here slowly.
Twirlergirl, I think I may neeed to go to DQ today! Sounds good.
Claire, Good luck with the squashing, I think my bruises are finally gone from mine.
Hope you all have a great day! :circle:

Good Morning Healthinators!!!
BAd day yesterday- cake at church, popcorn during Olympics, ice cream for supper, then Ice cream cake later (leftover from birthday bonfire that didn't happen here).
Today I am back on the wagon- I have already run, showered and I'm dressed and ready for school- half day subbing at brand new elementary (open 3 days) so it will involve finding my way around! (hope the kids know where to go or we could get lost on the way to the bathroom!!) I will go to Curves after school (gotta make time for that again) and go with Mike to buy new used car when he gets home!! I indend to be a the marathon chat if we're home in time (I hope so). Sarah leaves today to visit some friends and then will end up in Kentucky to work for Christian Applachian Project building houses until next July.
Goals for today:
Forget Ice Cream cake and extra cookies are in the freezer
smart eating!
no snacks (OD'ed on them yesterday)
drink water

Good afternoon Healthinators!
TwirlerGirl- I hope you are able to get some rest today. Please feel better!
Cinderella- Sorry you had to go twice for the dreaded squish. Pixie dust for great results. Send that hawk up here...do they eat mice? We had a mouse in our boat that made the trip to the Cape and back. He even survived a rough ride to P-Town because the winds came up and we couldn't get the boat out safely. My DH and our Cape neighbor had to get a mooring in P-Town harbor for the night and Mr. Mouse stayed with the boat. DH found evidence when unpacking the boat and set a trap....GONE!
Sheryl- Are you as bummed as I am summer is over? Geesh that was fast! See you tonight!
Bookwood- At least you only had one bad day, I've had a string of them. Major stress eating for me. I hope you can make it tonight.
I'm off to meet my DH for supper and then to visit Dad. It was emotionally difficult for him to watch Dad fail so quickly. He was the one to tell him we were bringing him to the hospital. He was out of tricks, he tried so hard to keep him going. It was the right decision because he was treated and is on the mend. I can't begin to tell you how great he was to Dad.
I'll be back for the chat!
