WHOOPIE!! IT"S SATURDAY!!
Good Morning Everyone

It is cold and rainy here this morning, but my mood is bright and sunny. Made it through my 10 day stretch and now ...on to find some warmth and fun as we get ready to head to Florida. Sure hope the weather cooperates because I am really ready for some fun in the sun.

I am so happy that I am back on track with portion control and food choices. It also feels great to be exercising. I just can't believe the difference in my mood and energy level. I am way down on my ibuprofen intake too, the aches and pains are so much improved. Ali and I got a lot done around the house this week, and we are so ready to go play.

I still am not packed, but I know I will get it done today because I have to. I do have to call the vet and see what is causing a red rash on Roxy's underside. Looks fungal to me but the antifungal cream I have been applying doesn't seem to be helping. Other than that I think everything is in order.

I hope everyone has a great day as well as a super duper week. I know that while I am not going to be perfect in my choices while at WDW, i am going to allow myself a little freedom without guilt. Just hope I don't gain too much back. I will miss you all this week and look forward to catching up with everyone when we get back.

Get through the next 2 hours of work without any disasters

Get Roxy to the vet
Pack!!! Try not to forget anything important.

Good Morning HEathinators!!

I have discovered the best way to have a party for High School age kids: plan a bonfire (with a friend)and have it rain all day, then the friend volunteers to have the party at their house and it was nice a quiet here last night! (A good thing to as the cleaning I requested the older girls do didn't get done yesterday and when I got home after 4 I still had to decorate cookies- finally got dinner started for us at home around 6pm and eaten about 7). Today is take Becky back to Ball State day it has now been deceided we can use both cars and not pull the trailer (why did we buy it???) anyway The cookie pops for the "taste of Roanoke" festival are done and decorated all I have to do is wrap and lable them now. (recipe for cookie pops is make favorite cookie dough put 1 cookie size hunk of dough on cookie sheet and shove a craft stick in the side of it and bake).

Goals for today:
Lots of exercise and lifting and carrying (I going with the flow here)
Maybe a run when I get back

Good morning everyone!

I have such a busy day today! I need to run around and get my own personal things for the reunion as well as gather the other things I need to take, such as my credit card and the nametags I made. I am just so glad that this whole process (at least the difficult part) is over and that I can relax and enjoy. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly.

The one thing I am a bit worried about is that I STILL haven't found shoes that I like. I am going to leave here in about an hour and get to the mall right when it opens. I can always wear a black pair that I have, but the pants are a soft rose and the top is shades of mauve and cream, so I would really like a pair of brown shoes.

cshore: Have a great trip!! It is sunny with a few clouds up here, so have faith my friend. The skies will clear in your direction too!

Bookwood: Good luck getting Becky back to Ball State today! Drive carefully!!

Goals:
1. Relax and get things organized.

I was down here at 7:30 a.m. but got lost in reading posts so just made it to "our" area.

WOW! We had some blowout storm last night. It was thundering and lightning and winds blowing like a hurricane from dinnertime until early this morning. I haven't been outside yet to see if all our property is still on our property but the fire trucks were on the next street over at one of the new houses. Haven't heard back from the neighbors yet. Didn't smell smoke or see any ambulances so that's a good sign. The lightning was striking pretty close to the houses all around us though. Right now it's dark and gloomy out so I think we will have still more rain today.

CHRIS AND ALI: Have a Disneytastic trip!!!! Hope it's the greatest ever. Don't worry about diets and eating right until you're home again.

PAM: Sounds like a great plan NOT to have a party. How did you get it to rain though?

Terry and Nick are making waffles, then after we are all showered, we're off for Nick's football game. He got his new jersey and his number is #74, right now he mostly plays right guard and left tackle, but has also been put in as a line backer. Then funny thing is this kid is a little short for his age, but boy can he take down the bigger kids.

Afterward, a friend of mine has invited us to meet them on her boat, a 29 foot cabin cruiser, and I'm hoping some of our other (work) friends will be there. We've not been able to get together this summer, and we start back to work on Tuesday for set up. So it should be a fun day.

Chris, I hope you and Ali have tons of fun in the sun! :sun:

Pam, I was thinking about you last night wondeing how the party went. Hope you got to watch some of the diving of the olympics.

Jenny, Have agret time tonight, I'm sure you will look beautiful no matter what shoes you ahve on.

Well, I really slept in today. :deepSleep: Didn't wake up until 11AM! :shock: And to think cshore wasn't getting any sleep! She was in that pre WDW mode though. You just can't sleep thinking about the excitement.

Claire, I went to a friends house in the Hollywood Hills last night & spent too much time trying to get those hummingbirds! :doh: Really tough to catch them. I got some from the inside of the house. While I was outside, one of the house cats thought it was a good idea to hang out by the feeder..... :hppmad: One hummingbird kept chasing any & all others from coming to feed! I'll come back in & edit this to add the link to the site, but I think you'll have to click up in the right hand corner of the album once you go into the newest one I posted today, it didn't give me the option to name it & click index & it should show all the pix & you can click on the Hummingbird ones. I looked soooooooo California last night & didn't think to have anyone take a picture of me. I even had sunglasses to match my very pink California look. I'm always the picture taker. So, I'm rarely in a picture, have to be talked into it & DH wasn't there until later & we were watching a video about, dang, can't remember the name of the group. Really good video though. I did have a glass of wine. I can't even remember the last time I had any alcohol. It's been eons. At least a year.

I didn't get to Malibu today because I slept until 11AM. DH worked today & we're going tomorrow. I don't know if we're going to the beach though. It might be in the high 70's so it might be too cold. I'll bring my suit just in case though. Gotta be ready. 8)
