Uh oh the phone is ringing at 730a  & I did not set a wake up call – it was Ursulinda (LindaB). We had hoped to meet up with her at the resort the night before but when you got the 4 of us ladies together :talking: time just seemed to get away from us. We invited Linda to dinner with us that evening at ‘Ohana with Ellen’s family, Cruey’s family, Rosie & Matt & I :circle: . Back to sleep & boy we must have needed it because the next thing we know the phone is ringing again & it is Rosie. We make plans to meet at MGM at 12noon for WWTBAM-PI. We grabbed a quick bite of lunch in The Mara Food Court ($16.49) before heading to MGM
As we are walking towards WWTBAM-PI I hear my name & turn around to see Cruey, Mike & Michael :D . So off we go to get in line & to wait for Rosie. I believe Michael & Matt got into the Top 10 but none of us made it to the Hot Seat at this show. After the game we headed over to Tower of Terror, well they did & I headed to Beauty & the Beast. Like I mentioned before the lines were almost non-existent. They all got Fast Passes for 40 minutes later so they decided to do Standby & then it would be time for Fast Pass. Well in the 40 minutes they rode twice & then went back for the 3rd time with their Fast Passes. The Fast Pass took longer than the Standby line due to a mechanical problem. Rock N Roller Coaster was next on the list but Matt & I wanted to head over to Epcot to buy the Sword Stand & some lotion at Norway. The scent is called Laila & is wonderful & light. We of course had to check out Test Track before we left the Park to go back to AKL to get ready for ‘Ohana tonight.
We met Ursulinda (LindaB) downstairs in the lobby & headed over to The Polynesian for our 620p dinner reservation. We got there early so were lucky enough to see the Torch Lighting. Funny thing Alicia was there at the very same time but we did not see each other. I will say that Torch Lighter is very easy on the eyes ladies so if you get the chance try to stop by & check him out I mean it out  . Now upstairs to ‘Ohana & to wait for the others to arrive. ‘Ohana was a bit of a disappointment for a few reasons. We did not get seated until almost 715p & then they put us at 2 separate tables. Very disappointing especially considering there were tables in the room that were set for a large group such as ours & that this was supposed to be a Birthday Celebraion for Ellen's Mom  We had all wanted to get to Magic Kingdom in time to see Spectromagic & with the late seating it was looking doubtful that we might be able to make it. I will have to say I enjoyed the food very much especially the Lime Salad Dressing, the steak & the wings. Our waiter really did try to make up for our wait but still we did not get out of there as early as we wanted.
Somehow our groups got split up on the way to Magic Kingdom – Ellen, her family & Ursulinda took the Monorail while the rest of us took the boat. We were to meet up in front of Tony’s but unfortunately due to not paying attention to Ellen we never did meet up that evening. When we got to Magic Kingdom our group somehow ended up on the wrong side of the street & since the Parade had already started & people were streaming out we just could not get over to the other side. Now if we had paid attention to Ellen we would have done things differently but somehow we all missed her telling us the Park was open until 10pm  . We all had it in our minds that it was only open until 9pm – Spectromagic was at 845p. Since we could not make our way over to the other side & since we all stupidly thought the Park closed at 9pm we were sure the other group would just head home after the Parade. Sorry guys! Rosie came up with a great idea to cut through the stores on MainStreet & make our way to the back of the Park. This way we figured we could catch most of the Parade – we had gotten into the Park at basically the end of the Parade. Yes we did it – we ended up at the very end near Splash Mountain where the Parade ends. Throughout this time I had my Matt trying to call Ellen to let her know what had happened. Unfortunately he could not get a signal for the 1st few calls & then when he finally did only got voice mail. The Parade was wonderful & as we were heading out we realized Tinkerbell & Fireworks! So we watched Tinkerbell fly & then watched the Fireworks from near Haunted Mansion. Now this is where we all realized we had blown it. I noticed people were going into the Haunted Mansion queue. We asked didn’t the Park close at 9pm & were told no 10pm. How could all of us have not known or had not heard Ellen tell us? Again sorry guys :? ! Ellen was kind enough to make sure Ursulinda got on the bus back to Animal Kingdom Lodge .
We also had a chance to ride Peter Pan & have our picture taken in front of the Carousel before heading out of the Park. We enjoyed leaving the Park slowly in order to let the crowds die down a bit & then headed back to the Polynesian to pick up our cars. Ursulinda had left a couple of things in our car but I was afraid it was too late to call her when we returned to AKL so how cool was it when we see Linda :D walking across the lobby when we enter. She had decided to take a dip in the pool after returning from the Park & was just heading back to her room. Good timing, huh? I apologized for our screw up at Magic Kingdom but was glad to hear she was in good hands. Off to bed late again but not before enjoying the animals from our Balcony. I loved our room :present: !
