Hi everyone :(

Last night we went out for my birthday dinner - which was actually 7/10 - you see we were supposed to go to the NC Coast this weekend - but due to Bonnie and Clyde we postponed it. We had a lovely dinner though and after arriving home Tramp (who is from Cleveland, OH) mentioned there's someone at his job in from Cincinnatti who is going back there and mentioning Tramp to the powers that be - the other guy thinks he should come up there :(

Although this would be a great opportunity for him - I've finally become adjusted to living here in the South from the Mid-Atlantic East Coast. I could just cry, but am holding it all in and not mentioning anything due to that this is all "just talk" right now. When we first met in Phila - we almost moved to Antigua, I checked out homes and schools - then we did move to NC 8 years back which has been hard - away from the ocean (not too far but not right on it which I had in South Jersey growing up) We almost went to New Orleans back in August 2001 (now I could check homes and schools on the internet) and now he's talking about OH. He said we wouldn't live in Cincinnati, live in South OH or KY - I love all our OH pals on here and of course Tramp lol but I don't want to go there. This dog is getting too old for new tricks : ( I am an East Coast Woman and it was hard enough moving to the South - I'll just play it by ear and see how it all goes. Again, it's not that I don't like OH, I enjoy visiting Tramp's family and friends there, etc. but I don't want to live there - I'm waiting for his retirement so we can move back to the coast - just wanted to share : (
thanks

Gee Lady...I'm with you...I don't want to live in Ohio either...LOL I'm only here until my kids are grown. I just spent the last 2 days in Cincinnati. I don't have any healing words for you right now...just know that you will be close to me if that move happens.

hugs..
Y...:)

Hang in there, Lady!

I understand not liking to move. Who knows maybe something on the coast will come from this talk of a move or maybe they will decide they really need Tramp to stay put and will give him a huge raise! Postive thoughts coming your way!

Lady...I know just how you feel. About every six months, Jeremy mentions something about the possibility of having to move. Usually it is Chicago, but he has also mentioned the possibility of having to move south. My parents live here in Cleveland with us (about 45 minutes away) and it would just break my heart to have to move away from my family. It almost always moves into a heated discussion (or an argument  ) when this topic arises. Unfortunately, I wouldn't have much of a choice as DH makes 3x as much as I do. :(

Sending PD to you that Tramp's job situation works out and that the right thing will happen for your family!
