Gooooood Morning!

Much to much to do today. I have a 9 am meeting this morning with our landscaper for our yard work. I think DH has lost his mind. He has ordered a ton of work to be done and it's costing a fortune. Maybe I'll worry myself thin with this project.

The boys will arrive here around 11 am , my 7 yr neice from New York and my sister are droping in for a visit this afternoon. No time to spare.
I wish everyone a happy, successful day.

Today's Goals:
Drink 64 oz of water. I don't think I drank any water yesterday but will do it right today.
Eat healthy on SBD.

Have a magical day!

Good morning to each and every one of you!! I hope today is a super great day for us all.

Today I am going to take charge, own my problems and my stuggles and do my best to eat healthy and to do what i know needs to be done to get to my goal. Sometimes I want to blame my failing on other things than myself. Only I can effect the change I want, and today is my day to do just that. Just for today. Minute by minute.

Goals for today:
Curves - heading out of the door as soon as I post
Water - so far so good
Wake up in a good mood - I have an awful lot to look forward to and some trips to Disney coming up. that always puts a smile on my face.
Give thanks for all my wonderful friends here!

Chris

And a good gloomy rainy morning to everyone!

I'm not taking Nick to school today, instead we've decided he will go help out at VBS, which I feel is also important for him. Plus he wants to go, and then it also gives me a minute to post.

TwirlerGirl, you certainly have another day full of things to do. Enjoy your visit with your sister and neice today!

Chris, I LOVE seeing you here again every morning!! Keep up the good work!

Todays goals:
drink water
make healthy choices
don't spend MONEY!!!

Hope you all have a great day!

Twirlergirl, I understand about costing a fortune as my hubby has a brand new pickup truck sitting in our driveway. I'll feel better once the first payment is made. LOL

cshore, You are doing great, and I personally know how hard it is to own failure. But, this time, no failure! Minute by minute. We'll do it!

Sheryl, If you figure out how not to spend money, please let me know! I've been spending money like it is water lately.

Everybody, have a great day

Goals for today:
1. portion control
2. water
3. Curves.

Yo BABES!

Glad to see you all up and busy already. Sun is out here. Still HOT and MUGGY. We have a thunder storm and it's gone in ten minutes and then it's even hotter - go figure!

Had second night of VBS last night. Our 4th boy came last night - big 4 year old dude named HUNTER - complete with a body full of poison ivy.
He is so chubby and cute and I love listening to him. When we saw the Davey and Goliath video on camping (our theme) and Davey had to rescue his sister Sally from the flood waters, he said it was vewee scawee. Meanhwile, his cousin who is half his size is totally hyper. The third boy is a thin quiet little boy who keeps kissing my fingers and arms continuously as I'm giving the lesson. The fourth boy is one of Pastor's grandsons and usually a terror but he's been pretty good as I've made him my unofficial helper. He's much bigger and older then the other three. I haven't gotten through half our lessons in the time we have in our own classroom but that's okay. They don't sit still long enough and I have to keep coming up with activities so they can keep moving.

Speaking of landscaping, we have to go now to see our friendly neighborhood worker at the nursery where we got our plants. Some plants are not very happy and we have to ask what the problem might be (other then the rabbit who now ate a total of 14 plants out front and about 7 out back).

Have to get laundry in so I have clothes for tonight. Get a reprieve tomorrow night since we already had purchased tickets for the next play at the summer stock theater. Then I finish up VBS on Thursday night.

WATER WATER WATER
No gym this week but getting plenty of exercise
Make more "Welcome Lady" visits to new neighbors to keep up with all the families moving in
Some ironing (only the necessities)
Get to nursery about plants
Send flowers to daughter for her gallery opening today in WA state
for her photographs
Eat healthy

You are all doing so well and at least trying so that's a GOOD thing.
I am sort of trying but until I can get back to gym and get my walks in, I will not be losing much. I will NOT give up though. Stepson's wedding is next spring/summer and DH and I want to be BEAUTIFUL and THINNER by then so that's a goal.
(PAID MOST OF THE BILLS AND DH SAID HE DIDN'T WANT ME TO CANCEL DW TRIP IN DEC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BLESS HIS PEA-PICKIN' HEART!!!!).

Oh Claire!!! You don't know how much reading your posts everyday puts a smile on my face!!! I really think we need to move you to my neighborhood!

Our VBS has quite a full registration this year. In my group alone we have 12 kids. They are all first graders going into second grade, and are so cute. I am the crew leader of our Tucan group. It has the Polynesian theme going with Lava Lava Luau. We start with songs and our pastor says prayer, then we move to different groups such as bible lesson, arts and craft, gym class, snack, and movie time, with finishing back at Lava Lava Luau for more singing. It is amazing how much the kids learn and remember at VBS.

Cheri, enjoy that brand new pick up truck. Before you know it those new payments will not seem so bad. My problem is NOT being able to stop spending money! I will not ahve a paycheck until the first week in October, but I'm spending like I'm getting double checks weekly. Bad Sheryl Bad

ronski's question of the day-----

Why is the alphabet in that order? Is it because of that song?

Good Afternoon Healthinators!

It's been a busy day- but no stripping- after last week I'm only stripping every other day. Friday will be a short day as I have to be up at GS camp by 6 pm for a trainers meeting. I'm supposed to go Saturday also but have VBS at oour church so I'm ditchin'. Besides I really don't think there's a snowballs chance in H...well you know where they really wnat my opinion about how to build the new GS council office (called Leadership and Learning Center) or they would have built it somewhere we could actually get to in under an hour!

Goals for today:

Curves done- got ok to increase my mtime there for my "cross training" for Marathon

Buy more Stripper- my MIL found tons of the stuff at her local Walmart !/2 gallon for $12.29 or so I bought 2 gallons I hope that will get me finished with living room!

Water- 48 oz in 60 more to go

Get some fresh/healthy food- MIL took me to her farm stand and then I hit Meijer for their sales this week.

Watch Jennifer and Evan- they're on their way

Get some stuff together for smiles program- done- Disney Store has beach towels for $5.99 as well as towel back packs for $5.99.

Hope everyon ehas a great day!

Thump, thump, thump... That was me falling off the darn wagon this weekend - who took my guardrails down?!?! It must have been that Blue Moon that lingered over the weekend. Oh well I did make lots of good choices too, but too many bad choices. Got right back on the wagon yesterday though and moving on.

Ronski, the alaphabet is in that order to make you question why it is in that order - nothing more, nothing less.

Got all fluids in today by 1 PM & still drinking. Ate smart! I'm so tired  getting used to this new routine. I want to drop into a deep :deepSleep: sleep tonight & not wake for hours!! I'm exhausted.

No exercise going on the last couple of days at all. Just getting this fibromyalgia body used to this routine. I'm very thankful :notworthy: to have this job. Yesterday's ride took 55 minutes & todays took 30 minutes & I left 25 minutes earlier. So, I'll be working on the timing thing. :tink:

Hey guys. Had girls night out. Pigged out completely. I am so stuffed that I am embarrassed. Tomorrow I am back on the wagon -- completely. No cheating (at all). In fact, I may fast until lunch (I'm just so miserable right now, I can't imagine eating anytime soon -- we'll see tomorrow).

HEAVE -- HO. OK, thanks for the tug. I'm in. Fasten the seatbelt. Let's roll.
