Final trip comments

Lest you think that my full time occupation is to complain.....

We love WDW. Alot. We were just sad that their standards have been lowered. If you've never been, then you may not see what we saw. Disney is STILL the ultimate fantasy vacation spot and they do give you a level of service that you won't find at other family vacation spots.

I did manage to meet MargaretJ and her son! Didn't make it to the meet at the Contemporary (was standing in line for Splash Mountain) with FP's for Buzz Lightyear!

The weather was great! Got hot the last two days. Started to rain on our way to the airport.

Most importantly, our vacation was exactly what we needed it to be. A total escape from reality and responsibility with lots of fun.

I'm sorry too hear that you had some rotten parts to your vacation.IMO I would write the manager of the hotel and complain about CM Linda and what she did,not fair too you or DD. :evil:

Linda, I'm sorry for the bad experiences, but happy to know that you and Alana managed to salvage an enjoyable vacation. :D

We missed you at the meet, but I know it's hard to leave a park when you are having fun. I actually had a baby at Centra Care during most of the meet, but my two big kids were anxious to get over and try the CR arcade. :lol:

During the Keys to the Kingdom tour one of the people asked our guide about Disney opening a 5th theme park there. She said that the pool of potential employees is tapped in central FL. Maybe they are pushing the limits to find suitable people.

It is sad. I know that Disney has always had a very high standard and it's very hard to accept when that standard has been lowered. If we had run into a very few isolated incidents, I would never had mentioned them. But, I did not EVEN tell you most of the stories!

And to have my daughter notice and comment on the differences made me sad, too.

But like I said, we had a wonderful time.

Linda I hate that you had a bad experience at AKL but am so glad that we got to meet you. You were missed at the meet but we understand some times it is hard to break away from a Disney trip to get to a meet. Maybe next time!!
