:tink: Just going to post this start & get back in to edit, so we have a start place! Many times I spend a bit of time getting a thread started only to find someone else was also, so nobody did & here we are.
:theWave: Ok everyone, the wagon is coming by & just grab one of our hands & we'll get everyone back on board, even if it's just to say hi & get water in at the very least. Water alone will help.
Sheryl, I know how good those sugarfree pops are. I'm a former addict to them. I think that I've also mentioned that I'm convinced that nutrasweet and any of the sugar substitutes increase my appetite. I was putting it in my iced tea (decaf) and found that I was always hungry. Even just after eating. Made no sense, so I cut it out & I was right.
cshore! Hi! :waving: Good to see you back. :D Welcome aboard the wagon. Hey, where's Alikat & how's she doing?
Jennyanne, Hi! :waving: Glad to see you hoping back on the wagon w/us. I'm just happy when people check in just to say hi. You've had a rough summer. Hope it gets better.
Bookwood, congrats to you girlfriend! :notworthy: You're doing great! You are always so motivating, as is Pixie!
Boy, I never even got in here yesterday. :hppmad: Meant to. I was going to take a day off from job hunting as it's getting me down, but got involved in it & the day got by. It's hard work as Ursulinda mentioned, it's my job to find a job. So, it's very tedius. I did find out from one potential employer yesterday why Californa takes so long to make any kind of decison. She is the owner of a company that will interview me next Wednesday, although we had a great one hour phone conversation of an initial interview & it soulds like a perfect opportunity for me, but it's a small company & benies are not as good. She told me that employers want every i dotted & t crossed because of frivilous lawsuits regarding workmens' comp in this state. It's very expensive because of the frivilous lawsuits. One precedent setting case was a person who was fired & then turned around and sued, successfully for a huge sum of money for "wrongful hiring" because the employer should have known that they couldn't do the job!   What lawyer or plaintiff can sleep at night having done that? I have to say that it did make me feel a bit better because I was getting very depressed regarding the less than timely manner of hiring around here. I have an interview w/her company next Wednesday when her HR person is back from vacation. She needs someone now, but won't interview w/o her HR person, as she's a small business & she would be put out of business if she even had one lawsuit. WOW! Why do people & lawyers do those things?
I did well w/my eating yesterday & my fluids also.
Today's goals: :D
Drink fluids, already well on my way. :D
Eat smart! :D
Take a walk w/DH. :walk:
Try to take a break from job hunting today. I don't know if I can do that but I wlll try. :?
Have been having excrutiating back pain. :happytears: I think I may have to find a doctor that covers an L & I claim from WA state. The pain is exactly where I got that dislocated disk on March 31st w/that large patient. It's so painful. I'm up this early because I only slept 2 hours because of the pain. I hate going to the doctors though & always hope the pain won't come back, but it does. :hppmad:
:waving: Have a nice day everyone. It's supposed to be nice and :sun: today. Hope everyone else gets a piece of that :sun: :tink:
