Poor Nemo. He has so many seafood jokes directed at him. :ariel:

Where do you get your favorite seafood at Disney World? I love the shrimp tempura at Tempura Kiku in the Japan pavilion.

I take it you are referring to this:

  ddoll. Yep, that was the one in mind when I was going to ask about favorite seafood. At least I didn't mention the sushi at the Swan's Kimono Restaurant. It is mighty good, too!

Well to answer the seafood question, I lOVE the fish and chips in the UK.
Best I've ever tasted.

Coming from New England, I'm not a big fan of fresh seafood in FL.
I can taste the nasty sulfur water taste in it.

The only seafood I can remember ever eating at Disney was crab from Fulton's. I'd love to go there again, but my guys are not big seafood fans.

Don't have a favorite, but here are some I like...

Shrimp - 'Ohana, Both Tempura and Stir Fried at Japan

Fish & Chips

Something I had at Fultons but don't remember what it was except that it was seafood

Worst.
All seafood at Cape May Buffet - big yuck!

Oddly, being from N'Awlins I am not a seafood fan outside of crawfish, crabs, fried calamari and lobster. No shrimp, oysters, scallops, mussels, clams, sushi or cooked fish for this girlie. All that being said, I llluurrrrvvvved the lobster at Le Cellier. It literally melted in my mouth.

I didn't realize Le Cellier had lobster! slurp, slurp. I know where I'm eating next time. :D

Moley,

I don't know if this is the same thing Stinkerbelle is talking about, but they had a new item on the menu. I think is was a lobster salad, served on a think Hot Dog like roll, served open faced. Looked good, but I knew I would not be able to finish it.

That sounds like the Lobster Rolls they serve in Maine. I even saw it sold at a McDonald's in Ellsworth, Maine.

Oh yeah, that's a lobster roll all right.

McDonald's sells them around here every summer...I even saw them there in NH last week.

When I was at Le Cellier about 18 months ago you could add a broiled lobster tail to any entree. It was very, very good - sweet and tender. About as close as I've had to a New England lobster outside of New England.

And okay, I agree that Florida seafood isn't on a par with the real thing you get up north (I'm originally from Boston) but I confess that I do like the Cape May Cafe. The mussels & steamers aren't great but they're better than what I can in Ohio (which is mostly those hideous little clam strips).

Villiangirl hit it closest. What I had was a Surf and Turf dinner at LeCellier and it was the BEST lobster I have ever tasted. They said it was a "special" but others I have talked to have had that same "special" at various time of the year for serveral years running. Delish!

I don't do seafood. EVER. How about if I "see food" I eat it. does this count?
