I just read a rumor on another forum that Fantasmic will be performed seven nights a week this summer. I have limited internet access here at work so I can't get to the schedule on the WDW site. The best I could do was to try to make a dinner package reservation. There were only 3 days available to book the week in July we are going. The rest were grayed out the way they were two months ago. So I guess I'll have to check when I get home.
In March I called and got Fantasmic for the beginning of Sept. They only had 3:45 and I took it. Since then, I've been going to the website, waiting for a later time to open up, but Sept has been in the gray for OVER one month. I don't get it.

Park hours are out through December right now; however always subject to change.
Based on the current hours, I only see Fantasmic showing the usual 2-3 times a week.
For the Fantasmic Dining Package, the seating is either during lunch or between 3-5pm for dinner. So, 3:45 is not too bacd, just not convenient.

That's what I'm seeing too. I guess that's why they call them rumors.

Update: Disney's website is showing December 'gray'. However, send me an email and I can advise what I have available for hours (of course, subject to change, etc. etc.).

Man, I wish they'd go back to the 7 day schedule. I haven't been for years because I HATE the crowds! :(

We keep hearing on the local news that tourism is up. I've slipped over to the parks a few time and haven't seen an 'off season' yet.
I would expect there to be heavy crowds this summer, so Disney could justify adding more Fantasmic! shows.
While we have been here, they have had Fantasmic twice a night, 9 and 10:30, every night but Thursday. We went Tuesday night for the 10:30 showing and the stadium was only about 3/4 full. Made for a very nice show. Back in the room by midnight.

That's great news for my July trip. What time did you line up for the 10:30 show?

Just got our DME luggage tags on Saturday!! :mickey:
We were in line at 9:45, they let us into the stadium at 10:00. So really only a half hour wait for the show to start. Not even enough time to get a good wave started

So I'm guessing there was really no line to speak of? I'm still hoping they change the July schedule to include two shows a night. We are going with people who have never seen Fantasmic.
Not really. We were standing about at the entrance to Beauty and the Beast when they started letting people in. By the time the show started, they still had the 2 full sections on either end empty. All in all, probably the most enjoyable wait up to the start of the show I've had in a number of years.

Fantasmic will be back to nightly shows for 6 July through 30 September (except 3 dates) - so good news for all going over the summer.

With the new schedule, I'm going to venture over there the night we get there. I think I'll do what Joe said and wait until the big crowd moves in and then see what's left. I haven't seen F! in YEARS because of the crowds. As soon as they did away with the back-door entrance for F! dinner people, I quit going. I cannot stand that cattle call of a wait....

More good news!
Fantasmic is not only every night, but they added 2 shows every night from 7/2-7/11.
Also for anyone going in July, I noticed that MK hours are also extended from when I looked the other day. :D

I'm going to check the park/show schedule right now. We'll be there in Sept. and may actually ge to see F!. I've seen F! at Disneyland many times but never watched F! at WDW because of the crowds.

Yep, F! is nightly and the Studios hours and EMH nights changed. Darn, I had all my itinerary and ADRs set. I'm going to work on itinerary, and possibley, ADR adjustments this weekend.
