Making a quick check in for lunch, and I find no messages. Wow.

Today is going well. I've drunk quite a bit of water, and just finished cereal for lunch. I love cereal. Dropped another pound. Down to 131 on the "new" scale (about 128 on the scale I like better :-) ). Just need to stick to it, and I'll get to 125 before my anniversary on August 13th (that's a huge goal).

Need to exercise tonight. Both girls are sick, so we'll have to make that work somehow.

Hope all of you are having great days!

Amy

Wow, maybe everyone in here is out walking!
What kind of cereal do you like that much? I am not big on cereal except for Cream of Wheat. The hassle of having to cook it up though, so I don't eat it that often! (A friend of mine ate nothing but Cream of Wheat, Salad, Dry Turkey Sandwiches on Whole Wheat, water) nothing else for 30 days and lost 36 pounds!!
Little snot has even managed to keep the weight off too. We no longer speak!! LOL (just kidding)
I did buy some Special K with berries this morning so we will try this tommorrow morning.

Good afternoon Healthinators! Thanks for getting the thread started today LeiasMom. You are so close to your goal, I am so proud of you! You have been strong and steadfast and you are being rewarded.

Snickerdoodlesmommy- That is a diet even I could keep up with! If the Slimfast keeps making me feel yucky after I drink it I may have to try it. I've lost some bloat already so I'm going to stay with it if I can. Let us know when you find a good cereal.

I was up and out early so I could go to the New Balance Tent Sale. Everything in the store was 20% off plus I had a coupon for another 5%. I got another pair of marathon shoes and wind pants, running gear for my son, shorts for DH and some other stuff. Good deal!

In the area I went to a fabric outlet looking for window lace, no luck. I also found a Polo Outlet and a Mia Bambino Outlet. I didn't buy anything but it was fun to see what they had.

After that I drove to the mall and got a scrapbook to put my 1/2 Marathon memories in. I also got another medal stand for the 2005 medal I WILL get.

I picked up steak tips at the meat market and fish for supper. I've had a full day!

I still need to do 2 1/2 miles

Keep drinking only water

That's all folks!!!! I'm still missing cshore, AliKat, Esmerelda and Faline. Please let us know how you are doing. It's not the same when you're not here.

I'm missing Katenigma too! Where is she? I got up late today, not a good nights sleep. Boy, I really need my sleep. I'm working on my waters. It's 2:30PM & I haven't eaten anthing but rye toast & my water and some watermelon. Will do my huge salad as soon as I sign off.

Got a call today from a head hunter about a really good job that would be located in Newport Beach! It's right up my alley, the job. She's going to present my information to those concerned & get back to me. If that happened, I'd have to rent a room down there, as it's too much of a commute, until our lease is up here. I need a job so bad & it would be so nice to have a job I could actually live off here & do better. XXXXX fingers!

Goals for today. :D

Get fluids in. :D

Eat smart! :D

Get a walk in. :D

Have a nice day everyone. :D

Linda, I love any kind of cereal (just about). Just give me sugar :-) In college, my diet was 3 bowls of cereal a day. Not the healthiest, but I got to a size 5 :-)

Barbara, don't do the slimfast thing if it makes you feel bad. Try something else with the same caloric/nutritional values. Try the hot meals, soups, meal bars, or nonslimfast products that get you to that point. We want you to feel good. . .

Tink -- good luck on the job. We'll keep our fingers crossed for you.

Thanks, I'm pretty excited about it. We'll see.
