Tagomania '11 - EE/Safari/Flame Tree Meet: Saturday 10/22 (rope drop) =There's Got To Be A Morning Africa... - Joint Meet with the folks of Pixelmania
World travelers will be at it again this October taking an Expedition on Mt Everest and then quickly (almost magically) moving on to take a Safari in Africa. We'll be begining when AK opens on Saturday and "swiftly without running" getting FP's for EE before heading to the stand by line for the safari

MEET UPDATE: NEW FRIENDS JOINING US!

As many of you know, The Magic In Pixels.com (http://www.themagicinpixels.com/forum/pixelmania/pm2011_theres_got_be_morning_africa..._saturday_oc t_22_rope_drop_8002.0.html) is holding its yearly gathering, Pixelania, the same weekend as Tag-o-Mania. As there are several folks who are members of both sites, and will be attending both gatherings, I proposed to the staff at both sites that we hold a mixed meet, where the memberships of both sites can have a chance to mingle and get to know one another. And they agreed. Both sites will undoubtedly gain some additional members, and knowing both groups as I do, I know we'll all have a lot of fun.

Because both sites always have a Safari meet at their yearly gatherings, and both sites have set their AK days to the same day this year, we came up with the idea of holding the two Safari meets together. Thus, the wonderful folks from TMIP will be joining us this year for our EE/Safari meet. Or, we'll be joining them for their Safari meet... really, either way is correct.

I even came up with a cheesy name for the meet, which Susan adopted: There's Got To Be A Morning Africa...

So be sure to bring your cameras to this one, fellow Tags, because the TMIPers are always willing to share their photo tips, and Kilamanjaro Safari is one of their favorite photo subjects.

A fun time is sure to be had by all.
