I was just wondering who is planning on booking the Fantasmic dessert party. What night is everyone doing it? What show time?

I'm on the fence about booking this, but if others are, I probably will as well.

I'm not going to do it. Way to expensive for something I'm not supposed to eat anyway. Now I just have to figure out how to find a place to watch (and maybe even sit). LOL

What is the difference in the viewing locations? It does look pricey, but Bernard sure does love his desserts, LOL.

I think the main thing is you get a seat with the dessert party. I did the dessert party on my first trip back in 2005, and they had it on a balcony in New Orlenas Square, but they don't do it there anymore. It says on the website that the viewing area is near Cafe Orleans.

There are 2 shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday - no shows on Monday.
Times: 9pm & 10:30pm

The dessert box includes a variety of cookies and sweets, some grapes and cheese and crackers. Also included are unlimited beverages (non-alcholic). The selling point for me is that I can sit in a chair and not on the ground and I will be able to see what is going on without obstruction.

We are going to try and get seats for the Friday show. 1st choice is the late show, 2nd choice is the earlier show. If we get shut out then the backup plan will be Sunday night.

While I'm all for having a "real" seat for this, it's really a lot more pricey than I'm willing to pay.

I've decided not to spend the money on it. While it would be nice to have a seat, I can think of better things to spend $60 on then desserts I probably won't eat anyways.

Suzy got us booked for the Friday late show, I know it's expensive but I just don't want to sit on the ground or spend a couple of hours holding a good spot. If it's a cool evening then I will drink several dollars worth of hot chocolate to help justify the cost :lol: .
