I just found on the Disneyland Website where you can purchase a World of Color Picnic Dinner which gives you your picnic food and reserved seating for the World of Color Show.
It can be booked 30 days in advance of your day. Interesting thought for a group of us. Then we each book our own on the day we want.

Sounds interesting - If we decide we want to all try for the same day and show then I think we would all be there!
Now I did not see the giant corndog dinner:lol:
Didn't see a cost, BR?

I have to admit I really want to do this and would love to see it with the tags- but the picnics really don't toot my horn. There's not one I'd eat under regular circumstances. If we decide to do it as a group I'll get one and eat what I want of it and share the rest. (Maybe I can carry in a burger LOL).

In talking with the dining folks, the picnic needs to be reserved online only. You can do it 1 to 30 days in advanced.

Hi all. Havent been here in a while. I saw this and wanted to share about the picnic. I have done it twice now. The firt time was a couple weeks after WOC started and second time was July 3rd. Both times getting tickets for the WOC would have been hard and i wanted first show only. Thats why we did it.
I have had the Asian Salmon one both time and my husband had the chikecn dinner one both times. The food was ok for Disney food and we were both ok with it as a meal. Both times I got and ate it at the parade. I think I paid about $12 each time with annual pass discount. he ticket we got was near the middle.
The alternative to this would have been a sit down meal that is pre set menu or wait in line to get tickets in the morning. I rarely can afford sit down meals and since i only go for a weekend I never wanted to waste time in long lines waiting for tickets. Now in January it could be different? Less crowds so maybe can walk up for a ticket to WOC.??
I think the picnic was a cost effect alternative and we had to eat anyway so for us it fit the bill.

Thanks for the info Barb. We have a sit down dinner booked for the Saturday night but I wanted to see the show again before we go home so I booked a picnic for the Monday night show. There is only one show so I thought it might be harder ti get into. Booking online was very simple.
