Hi BABES:
Hope I can type this fast enough before someone else posts at the same time.
It's Saturday - sleep if you can - work if you must - play if at all able!!!
Have a great Fourth of July Weekend! Watch those fireworks! Especially watch those barbecues!!!
Got up early. Have a "community" barbecue/pot luck thingie to go to this afternoon. Our little section of the community, "Quail Hollow" will be going down to the covered picnic area near the golf clubhouse and having a barbeque and meeting some of the new people who bought property but who have not yet built. They'll have iced tea/water, hot dogs/hamburgers. We each will bring a salad or dessert. I'm bringing a tuna/macaroni salad.
Might invite some of the newbies back here just to say hi and have more time to talk.
Have to finish cleaning house up and then feed my birds outside and water them etc. No walks today and no gym until next week.
Enjoy!!!!

Here you go ladies! I combined the title and moved Lady's thread. You two need to call each other before you post on weekends!

Good Afternoon!
Well, DH started early this morning on our outside cores. He had me ot there my 8:30AM. We finished up around 1:30 pm and are now getting ready for our friends party this evening.
I worked so hard that I not worring about carbs today. I have already consumed 80 oz of water and the day's not over,
Chicken for lunch and a low carb ice bar. I'll be careful at the party.
Everyone have a great day and a magical 4th.

Have a great fourth everyone! I didn't do too much damage last evening. A few chips & drank only water. Not too bad. Today I've only had watermelon so far & saltines & I'm getting the water in. We may take a ride this weekend, other than that, not much planned as we know very few people. The weather is always great though. Have a nice holiday. :D

Hey guys! I've been cleaning all day. My sister is coming in for a fly by visit (she'll get here at 5:30 and will probably leave tomorrow at about 8 a.m.) Same amount of cleaning, though (sigh). Block party is tonight. I made homemade ice cream (3 batches -- vanilla, banana, and peach). I also made a pineapple casserole. I may have some trouble being good tonight, but I'm going to try. I'll definitely get in a work out. I've also been banking calories today, so it won't be too bad.
I've already lost my 2 pounds for this week. That gets me to 133 (grand total -- drumroll please -- total loss of 28 pounds since Easter). DH said today that soon I will have lost a Leia (she's 36 pounds). That is kind of amazing. I am feeling so much better about myself. I'm going to wear a cute little skirt that I haven't worn in 5 years. In addition, I'm not going to complain about having my picture taken. Now, that's progress.
Hope all of you guys have a wonderful weekend. No big plans for us other than the block party. I think we are going to start shopping for a privacy fense and a play system for the kids. It's all good.
Amy
wonderful progress everyone : )
I'm waiting for my wedding ring to fit again
some of you may remember that is what has upset me the most
I have not worn my ring in a good year or more : ( have it on a chain
around my neck - Tramp and I each bought a chain in Antigua on our
honeymoon 11 years ago and we each have never taken them off : )
Just tried the ring yesterday and it just about gets over my knuckle
a few more lbs and I think it will fit me - can't tell you how much that
will mean to me to wear my wedding band again : )
Hugs Shell
p.s. no one thought of anymore food exercises lol

Shell, that is a wonderful goal. I'm sure you'll make it soon.
I managed to not eat anything at the block party. I threw away the extras of the ice cream and casserole so I wouldn't eat it. This is a good thing.
Hope everyone had a great day! See you tomorrow!

Shell, that was my favorite thing about losing this weight. Mywedding ring is so gorgeous. It's got three diagonal lines of stones. Two rows of diamonds w/a row of emeralds in the middle. It's so different. I haven't ever seen anyone w/it. I hadn't been able to wear it in years. So, I really understand that. Good for you. You will get there!
Amy, good for you! It is nice to not  mind if you''re in a picture instead of running for cover. Good for you! I was glad that I had saved my brown leather & black leather short skirts, as I can wear them again now if I choose.
I wasn't very good last nite. I decided that we were buying the goods to make sundaes at home. No ooops about it. But, I couldn't even eat half of it! I actually was good for what they normally tell you is the portion size of ice cream. :? That's a biggie for me. I would always overdue things in the past. But, then this morning I had a half of a half pint for breakfast.
