:confused2: Does anyone remember what the AP rates were for the moderates last December? Or have a general idea? I know I paid $49 or $59 for the values. Thanks!

Cheri,

I can't help you with last December, but I do know that when the values are $49 we can normally get the moderates for $79 (I think). Tink (YMJ) was able to work some magic again for us this coming week and was able to get us POFQ for $72 a night.

Wow, thanks Margaret! That's great info to have, Nancy and I have been speculating on what kind of AP rates we could expect this Dec. That now gives us some idea.

My heart is breaking. What great rates. Maybe I can talk Bernard into a "budget" trip--after all, I won't be eating.

MissB, you and Bernard should take your sail boat and head to Disney  Right through the panama canal and straight to Tampa, then catch a bus to Disney. Wind doesnt cost you anything and you could probably squeeze into a canal lock with a big ship and they wouldnt even know your there. Heck, you could probably even hitchhike once you hit tampa, then all you need is hotel and park tickets

Now whats so hard about all that?? You guys can go this year!! No problem

Okay, I have a question. Am I correct in assuming that a lobby room (woodsview) would be less then the courtyard view at WL? We stayed at WL first time when we were Disney-illiterate as far as saving money on rooms etc. The second time we stayed there (last Dec.) I had no AP's so paid the AAA rate which was still over $200/night. (still paying for that trip). I have AP's for this year (and next) and have asked for a lobby room and REALLY PRAYING that we'll get an AP discount rate for the room 12/5-12/13. What are our odds? (If the Disney gods are on our side).

How much less would a woodsview be compared to a courtyard view on the average?

Any help would be appreciated.

The rates I posted were AP rates for December 2003. I have been trying to keep up with rates for the last year or so that I might use. What I did last year was write down the price each time someone posted what they got using the AP rate so I hope they are a good indication & I hope they are accurate. I believe with WL that there is usually a 15-20 dollar difference in each of the views - for instance: Standard 124.00, Woods, 139.00 & Courtyard 156.00. Good luck getting a good rate, it seemed to me Standard is not offered very much with the discount so you would probably get the Woods or Courtyard view.

You wouldn't happen to have the AP rate for AKL Savannah view would you? I''m actually hoping for a good rate for WL but my other choice would be AKL.

thanks

If the values were $49, then Jenine got robbed!! After the taxes, she payed like $90 a night for All-Star!!

I think its time for me to start paying attention to prices and stop joking around! I'm tired of paying more than full price!

Sorry Carol I don't have the AKL Savannah view price but will see if I can find it for you.
