I would choose the pool view. That way, you can sit on your balcony and people watch! :birds:

Ok Shell,

If you are talking WL then I'd take the courtyard view. We had a courtyard view that was over the pool area, and we also got to see the fireworks (not all but some) above the roof from our balcony.

Fireworks!

That way you can watch from your resort free from the crowds at the park. We had an Illuminations fireworks view two trips ago from BCV and absolutely loved it.

Would love the Fireworks view. Last time we were at CBR, we could sit on the beach in the hammock or lounge chair and see most of the aerial Illuminations from Epcot. That was cool. Not as good as being there, but in the case of the MK fireworks, the crowds afterwards do have to be dealt with. I'd take any view just to be planning a trip right now.

We always take the courtyard /pool view . Rich loves to watch the geyser and I love to look out at the lake and see the electric water parade go by at night. You can always go out on the dock to see the fireworks....

Definitely fireworks view. That's my dream, to someday be able to sit in my room and watch the fireworks go off in the distance.

I have a great affinity for fireworks. My mother always told me they were for my birthday! :D

hi Lady,

We splurged for a lagoon-view room at the Polynesian for our honeymoon and, while it was special, I can't imagine myself willing to spend the extra $$$$$$$ for a fireworks-across-the-water view again. We more recently stayed in Tokelau, with a garden view, and that was wonderful. Since it was November, the fireworks were only held on Saturday night, anyway. So we just walked out to the beach to watch them.

Wouldn't stay at the GF if the room were free.

Would like to stay at the Contemporary someday, especially if we could get a tower room facing the Magic Kingdom. Again, though, I doubt I'd be willing to pay the extra money.

At the Wilderness Lodge, I'd be happy with anything. The lobby's wonderfully themed, the courtyard's landscaping is totally beautiful, the views into the woods are lovely and tranquil -- I don't see how it could go wrong (as long as the infamous "over the dumpsters" rooms weren't in the mix).

There's my long-winded 2 cents,

Sandi

It is now narrowed down to the Lake or the Pool
Tramp/Scamp chose Pool
and I chose Lake :)

MK fireworks view, definitely.

We saw them from our TOwer room at the Contemp when we had been upgraded FREE from the garden wing, and it was truly spectacular!

MK Fireworks view Shell, we had that at the Poly the last two times we stayed there and it was super. They pipe the music into the resort so you can hear it from nearly anywhere. And the icing on that is that right after the fireworks, you get to watch the Electric Water Pagent. Hokey, but fun.

Definitely the Fireworks view! I absolutely love fireworks...even the sound of them. It would be great to stand on a balcony, away from the crowds and just drink it all in. *sigh*
