It's Friday and kinda soppy around here- my morning run looks iffy! I will head into Curves as soon as the rest of town opens (Curves opens at 6 am MWF but rest of town not til 9 and I need a few things!!) I didn't get my trip into Ft Wayne done yesterday (car had dead battery ) so maybe today- maybe Sunday- maybe not until the week before we leave now!! With GS day CAmp next week I'll get my distance and exercise in I'm sure!! (I'm in charge of the older girls who will be backpacking!) I think I may need to have hip put back again (just did this wednesday). I still have toys to price for the yard sale also- tons of Barbies, and clothes (this is want comes from having 3 girls get older) I should probably start combing Barbie hair now and I might finish before the sale starts!LOL

Goals:
Smart eating today- Saturday and Sunday won't be quite so strict
Water (gotta do better on days I don't run)
no snacks
Curves
Run if possible (get one in this weekend no matter what!!)
Barbie hair

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

soppy here also - starting to feel like a duck - all it does is rain
and am getting tired of people saying "we need the rain!" ackkkk
Went to the gym last night - first time back after my theatre break - the gym was nice and extended my free membership I won on the radio by two more months : ) I went into the Arobics (sp) class but only stayed in there for 15 minutes I looked like Lucy - going the wrong way lol - did not know what the instructor meant when she said five curls - four grapevines - heel tap - spread - walk - WHAT!!!!
I felt like a fool bungling up all the moves, so I walked out lol and went to the treadmills - that was great - walked for 30 minutes at 2.5 mph lol (first time) then spent 15 minutes on two weight equipment things - one for thighs OUCH and one for arms -
I'm back in the gym - doing my points - losing weight and on my way!!!

Hugs to all of you - Shell

It's soppy here too! The slimfast shakes were great. I did very well on Wednesday. But, yesterday, I nearly passes out from not eating while at work. My blood sugar bottomed out! So, I know that I can not do the shakes while working. It's just not enough calories etc to be on feet running around working like a dog.

So, I'm back to plan B. Watch what you put in your mouth!

I'm so frustrated I could scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyhoo.... moving on..... today is another day!

Have a great day all!

Sorry ladies but it's nice here in Maryland.

Good Morning!

Another quick visit, I never know what the boys will get into next.

Todays Goals:
Drink 76 oz of water - I hope.
Eat healthy on SBD - I actually turn down DQ (Dairy Queen) last night - I just can't imagine that happening again.
Remain calm no matter what the boys get into.

Have a magical day!

:tink: Morning Healthinators! I am so sleepy  since I couldn't get to sleep until after 12:30 AM & have been awake since 3:30 AM w/the "crazy legs syndrome" and arthritis type of pain. Had to take a Vicodin just to have any relief. I rarely use a pain medication, but last night was severe pain. It's improved, but I never got back to sleep. I hope that tonight I will be dead to the world. :deepSleep: I need it.

Bookwood, good luck w/the Barbie hair. Hope that you have everything ready for your sale & the :sun: is shining for that.

Lady, I know what you're talking about w/the aerobics & two left feet. I once tried a step aerobics class... it was pretty funny. Couldn't keep those steps together to save my life. Everyone else followed the instructor like they were programmed robots. They all knew the next moves. I too took to the treadmills. Good luck, it will all come in time.

LGC, watch those low blood sugars! That can really throw your day out of whack. You'll find what works for you.

It's 63 degrees here now & supposed to hit 87 today. It will be sunny. I have a job interview at 2:30 PM, PST, so keep me in your thoughts & prayers for that. I'd really like to get this job. It's w/a very established company in this area that has numerous sites through-out LA. DH & I will be moving in April of 2005 (going condo where we live), and it'd be nice to stay w/the same company even if I would have to possibly (or not), change locations w/in the company in a year.

Goals today:

Already drinking water & will get it all in.

Eat & think smart.

Review interviewing hints for this job.

A couple of phone calls regarding bills.

:waving: We'll see you tomorrow or Monday, whichever works out for everyone. Have a nice weekend. :tink:

:::::walking in with my umbrella:::::

It's been raining here all morning also, but the sun is trying really hard to peak through all those clouds. :sun:

Pam, GOOD LUCK with that garage sale and make lots of money...disney money!! :girlears:

Shell, Your doing GREAT! And I had to laugh at your aerobics (sp?) walk out. Been there, done that.

Cheri, I have an aunt who used those shakes and they seemed to work for her. But please be careful form those low blood sugars. From my own experience, they really take alot of energy out of me when they happen. Hang in there, and we'll get this figured out.

Sandy, Enjoy that sunshine today. Your awesome and I think you are a saint! :angleCute:

Katie, GOOD LUCK today with that interview! Let us know how it all works out. :flowers:

Todays goals:
drink water at least 72 ounces
make healthy choices
get more things done, times going by quickly

Hope you all have a wonderful Friday!!:circle:

Hi HealthiBABES!

Glad you're all in here. I just got downstairs to check posts and will head back up. Still working on checkbook - bank still says I have MUCH less then I figured and I don't have enough to take out for trip to Maine. Will try to figure out their paperwork and go back tomorrow and get some pocket change at least for tolls/tips. Use DisneyVisa for gas/food/hotel.
I very rarely am low in funds in checking or overdrawn so this really annoys me trying to figure out who's wrong. And grandsons are due in two weeks so any money in there with next pension check will be LOOONG gone fast! Wny couldn't I be born RICH instead of BEAUTIFUL!!!

Anyhow, I was put on new program at gym yesterday and am paying for it today. My right hip is always bad and that's the leg that does its own "happy dance" in the middle of the night when I try to sleep. These machines really did a number on that hip/leg. I'm trying to work it out but the leg is not cooperating. Will try to do some more stretching exercises. I had the "commando" trainer - she's about 70, slim, small, white hair. She thinks she's running an army boot camp. I will go back to the nice young boy next week - he feels sorry for me being so old and all.

Looks like rain. DH was to play golf but will try again tomorrow. Hot as heck out there and humid. Even the breeze is hot. Have to keep filling up the birdbath for my poor birds. They are in and out of the birdbath constantly drinking and bathing.

I have to get my water in (don't forget I take three pills for blood pressure and two are diuretics) so I'll have to stay close to home.

Have to go hit the checkbook and start laundry for Monday.

Keep up the good work and have a great weekend!

THUD! WHOMP! WHOMP! WHOMP! WHOMP!

What was that you ask? I was doing so well -- riding towards the front of the wagon. Yesterday, I didn't fall off. I was thrown off the front of the wagon (that was the THUD). The rest was the wheels running over me.

My new boss was in for the day -- big meetings around the office. Started off with an all associate's meeting. They had muffins and pastries. I avoided them.

Then, there was a "product fair" introducing us to all of the products offered by our sister company. It was catered. AND it had candies all over the place. I had a very little bit of cheddar cheese and just a taste of chocolate. Not too bad.

Then, the new boss suggested that the new department go to lunch. I had a caesar salad with dressing on the side. Had just a very little bit of the spinach artichoke dip. Not too bad.

Then, right after work was a "beach party". I only ate a little bit of cheese. Still not too bad.

Then, the other attorney in our office and I took the new boss to dinner. We went to a VERY nice restaurant. I blew it then. Probably ate 2500 calories at just that meal. But, let me tell you, it was worth it. Macaroni and cheese with chili peppers (YUM). Chocolate molten dessert (it was like a souffle -- Double YUM).

I'm back on the wagon today. Hold me on, ok? I've been very good today and will be good tomorrow. I need to exercise still today. I'll get that in.

Glad to be back!

Amy

:tink: Well, LeiasMom, I fell off w/you! DH went out tonight & bought me @ my request a hot fudge sundae! I haven't had anything like that since before December 2002! It was good, but it was no Friendly's Ice Cream. Nothing in the world can beat Friendly's Ice Cream. But, I did enjoy it. Back on the wagon. :tink:
