Good morning Sheryl! Congrats on your baby boy graduating from Elementary school. They grow so fast. I just seems like yesterday that I was praying for a baby and now I have an 8 year old and 4 year old.

My goals for today:
1. be aware of what I eat. I got the new Slimfast shakes with the low carb deal yesterday. My plan is to have those for breakfast and lunch and eat a healthy dinner.
2. Curves if I can fit it in.
3. water

Have a magical day everybody! :circle:

Walk Strong later

Get some shopping done. I've been in the house 2 days, I need out!

Good Afternoon!

Another busy day here. The boys are bounce off the walls after last nights party. What fun - but I was bad. A 1/4 c of ice cream, a lttle b'cake and a few M & M's during the party. Now it's back to basics again.

:theWave: :theWave: Congrat's Nick!
You're officially a big guy now!

Today's Goals:
Water, water and more water.

:tink: Morning Healthinators. :)

Sheryl, congrats & have fun @ the graduation. It does fly by.

Twirlergirl, I don't even consider that cheating. You gave yourself a little o everything & I think that's a good thing to keep you going. Removing anything all the time from your diet, that you want to have, isn't going to work. That's why what I do seems to work for me. If I want something, I have it. I have been craving ice cream lately, the past couple of days & the only reason I haven't indulged it is because it makes me sick, physically. I think that I have a lactose problem sometimes & I don't want to pay the price tag, physically, that the ice cream would cost me. If it didn't make me sick, I'd have some. You had a small amount of it & that's good, as you would have felt deprived if you hadn't had what you wanted. You were at a party after all. Have fun.

Goals today:

Get focused on job search.

Drink waters.

Eat smart.

Have a nice day everyone. :tink:

Hi BABES!!!

Glad to see you all here and doing well. YES, it's late - I know!!! Got to sleep about 11:00 and was actually sleeping again when DH decided it was HIS turn to get up at 4:30 a.m. I threw him out of the room (he was pacing and putting on lights). I think he got back to bed about 6:30 and then I conked out again. We did not get up until the construction trucks woke us up at 10:00 a.m.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, if you add up the hours I slept inbetween "awake breaks" then I had another good night.

Spent the day with the checkbook and bank balance and the bank insists I have a LOT less then I say I have. So, after a few hours I had to give in to them and just hope no checks bounce until pension check arrives next week. (only problem is that we need cash from account to leave for Maine 2 days before retirement check gets deposited - more magic I have to work!!!).

Ate light: cereal/juice for breakfast and plain tuna with lemon and celery sticks for lunch. Having leftover honey ham for dinner from Father's Day as we have another play to attend tonight at the local summer stock theater (DH missed the first one due to his fever).

Got to gym!!!!!!
Drinking water!!!!

That's the best I can do today. Really trying. I've got two feet and one arm back on the wagon - it's the butt end that is hanging off!!!

Sheryl: Congratulations on your son's graduation. At least both boys will now be on the same schedule and in the same school. They grow up very fast. (Glad your "3rd" son enjoys his present!!).
Cheri: How are those new slimfast shakes? Try them yet?
Barbara: Hope you got out of the house for some fresh air!
Pam: What is the gas down your way? Ours just came down to $1.79!!!
Sandy: I wish I was "bad" like you were (1/4 c ice cream,a little birthday cake and a few M&M's). Why that's a diet to me!!!!!
MikeS: How the heck are you???
Tinkerbell: How's the job search doing? Lots of luck.

STay well. Keep smiling.

Hi all,

Had a long and busy but fun weekend with Val. Sadly she went back home last night. It was too short a visit.

We went out for lobster twice since she never gets to have it, also had some steamers and mussels. I may get it more than her, but I still love it! I also managed to fit in time to make some low carb meatloaf to show her what it should look like since I don't measure stuff going into it. Also, at the last minute yesterday managed to whip her up a coconut crunch delight low carb dessert which she carried home on the plane. I wanted to show her how to make the deep dish pizza but never got around to that. She'll just have to try to make it on her own the first time.

We did stop at the summer ice cream place and got some of their delicious ice cream. I had already planned to go there this summer a few times and Sunday was one of those times. That is it for awhile though, and when right back to my good eating. Now tomorrow night I will have to avoid eating s'mores at our group picnic. That will be a tough one though because I love s'mores.

Did lots of shopping. She bought a bunch of clothes. Since she lost so much weight, she was having a lot more fun trying stuff. So now she has some new clothes that aren't Disney. I was trying hard not to look because I didn't want to spend any money on clothes right now, but I broke down and bought a shirt for work. It was on clearance and I saw it when looking for things for her. I did talk myself out of buying a shirt for play though. That wasn't on sale so easier to talk myself out of it.

Goals:
Nothing - I'm too tired to think about goals

Another day that I'm running in and out. I don't have time to tell you all individually how great you are doing. Just know that you guys are motivating me to do well. Thanks.

Had mediation today. It went well. The firm took me out to lunch (it's nice being hte client). Went to the Hermitage hotel to eat at the Capital Grill. It's a pretty expensive place. I was proud of myself -- had the caesar salad with no dressing or anchovies. I skipped the bread as well. Eating healthy won't be a problem today.

Goals for the rest of the night (what is left of it):

Go to mom's and do her errands
Exercise
Steam clean Leia's carpet (she and dear mother in law cleaned her room top to bottom today)

Talk to you all soon!

Amy
