publix? help...eats????

hi please feel free to move this if it doesnt belong here? but i thought it might classify as eats? any how, i am interested in links to past ?'s on publix? i couldnt find any previous posts. or specifically...do they sell they white styrofoam coolers? and how much? we will need one on our trip at the end of august. also, do they have a preferred shopper card i can apply for or anything i should know about sales or double coupons? i am basicly going to buy some fruit a gallon of milk, lunch meat and cheese. i am not sure of what else, we will have the 30 min grocery stop with quicksilver :)

Can't help you with the link, but yes, they do have coolers. Less than $5, 2.99 or 3.99 comes to mind. You should find everything you need, it is a full grocery store, but also has "touristy" things-hats, sunglasses, beach stuff, etc. We always stock up there-water, fruits, veggies, milk, juice boxes, snacks, etc. If you have your list made up, 30 min should be plenty.

When I asked a few years back Publix didn't have a card. If it was on sale, it was on sale for everyone. I'm not sure that is still the case though. I wish the stores around here would go back to that - I hate all those stupid annoying cards.

I'm guessing you know that is where the stop will be? Winn Dixie does have a card, in case you go there.

Publix...yes to styrofoam coolers. No to cards and no to double coupons.
They do have their ad online, I believe. Grocery store sales run W-Tu (WD, Albertsons) and Th-W (Publix).
