Last week I went to the "Spa" twice!

The first was for a relaxing day where we swam and had lunch and look around.

I took the opportunity to speak with the manager of the Gym part and get her take on what would be best for me. I have faith in this woman as she is in her late 40's I would say, and genuinely interested in me and getting my fitness levels up.

She is there every day, and I can book as many sessions with her (like a personal trainer I guess) as I want free of charge.

I was about to sign on the dotted line for membership when she said to me.. come and have a free trial in the gym - and I will spend an hour or two with you and you can see what you think.

Firstly it gave me an opportunity to see if everyone else was beautiful.
and i am glad to say that they were not. It was not in the slightest bit intimidating - and to be honest the gym was pretty empty! She ran through an entire induction with me, and saw what I could do.

I am now comitted to going 5 x a week! (this is a major comittment as my life is already busy, but I do feel really motivated!)

So, I am off again today (i couldnt go yesterday as Theo was on a days holiday from school- and I know the first time will take me some time as I have to join and pay etc, so I thought it best to leave it until today to actually join up)

I have arranged 3 or 4 people who will baby sit theo whilst I go to the gym during the school holidays.

So, watch this space!

Im just back from the gym..
and I surpassed my requirements for today. I did a really good workout - signed up ! (dont know how to tell Richard that i decided to sign up for the FULL membership and not the off peak!) he will kill me (unless i prove him wrong and use if of couse!)

You know that feeling when youve done some excercise? Your lungs feel clear and you can breathe deeper..
I also feel a lot more energetic!

Ok.. Day one I know.. but I feel GOOOOOD!
