Disney Dollars at Disney Outlets?

Has anyone tried to use Disney Dollars at the Disney Stores in the various Outlet Stores in the WDW area? Is it possible or do you have to use "real money"? My niece wants to know!!

If the store is Disney owned/operated then you can use your DD there. The trick is that many, many of the "outlet" stores are not owned by Disney. The last time I was at Beltz, the store was owned by Disney, but I would call to be sure (it has been forever since I've been there!).

I'm pretty sure that the Belz and Orlando Premium Outlets stores are owned by Disney, so you can use DD$ there.

I'm pretty sure that the LBV Factory Stores outlet is not owned by Disney, so you can't use DD$ there.

Thanks Will- (sorry I'm so late in answering- I forgot I had responded to your original post- a mind is a terrible thing to loose :oops: )

I confirmed with a nice young man the Disnay Dollars were useable at the Belz outlets- I didn't call any farther bacause The more Outlets we know for sure about the more Grandma will want to visit (and most of us just want to stay in the parks- except picking up a few discounts the first night of course).

Pam, I think you might just change your tune when you get to the outlets and start shopping. You might not want to go back to the parks so quick!

You can use Disney Dollars at the LBV Premium Outlets as well. I used them there in April.
