Good Morning Healthinators!!
Rainy humid morning here (I'm glad I can get my exercise in the stores today!! and not on the road). Pay day here and there's money left after paying the bills (of course there will be less left over if I squeeze out DD's car insurance this check too!- My check goes right into Disney fund :angleCute: college fund and christmas fund are also part of that ! Today I will shop for a few groceries (have lots of melon in the fridge right now) and a few things for WDW trip in 3 weeks. Sams Club here I come!! (maybe a mall trip too with a stop at the sale at the Disney Store!)
Tinkerbell- it's always good to be proactive for new job! I'd be nice to new boss and see what happens (I'm a big fan of not burning bridges) until you 've been around awhile and know what's what I'd keep my mouth shut too! (I'm sure you know that already but all the girls are gone and I have to mother someone -sorry).
Lady- Good luck with the weight watcher's I hope it works for you! (I have decided most diets try to teach us healthy eating habits and protion control) they all just use different techniques.
Have a great day Healthinators and Make some Magic in your Neighborhood!!

Hi BABES*R*US!!!
Where are you all ? Out enjoying the weather?
Just back from check up at docs. DH is doing better and doc gave him permission to cut the lawn today (SOME of it!!). I sent him off with his hat on and two water bottles to carry on the ride-on mower. I am also stopping him soon to come in for awhile. The grass got soooo high the last 1 1/2 weeks that it will take a few days to mow so the mower doesn't get clogged up. It's also HUMID and HOT and HAZY as usual so he'd better not overdo it!!!
I lost a whopping 1/2 lb!!! I'll take it - better then gaining. My BAD cholesterol went down 30 points so that's good. Doc is still not happy with the fluid I'm retaining so I have yet another pill to take (Vasix?) and then a potassium pill to conteract the Vasix. He said I should plan to take the pill when I will be close to the potty!!
I might as well bring my blanket and pillow into the bathroom as it's my new favorite room. Now he tells me I'll be there all day too!!! Guess I'll set up the TV in there along with a microwave and a magazine rack along with the portable phone. ....... maybe the computer too and I won't ever have to leave. He admitted too that some of the pills I take for the Fibro cause my blood pressure to go up and makes me retain fluids - it's a "darned" if you do and "darned" if you don't situation.
So, tomorrow I think we're both back to the gym (doc told DH to do 1/2 of what he did before he got sick) and hopefully if my swelling stays down, we can do the walk around the loop each night before the bats and monsters come out but after the temps cool off.
Eating light. Catching up on cleaning and IRONING (YES - AGAIN!) which didn't get done while nursing DH.
Have a great day. Stay on track. Keep smiling. Whistle while you work.

Where's everyone? Come on, that wagon is circling and I hope I am not the only one getting bruised falliing off and jumping back on.
Don't know what my problem is, but I have been getting the strangest cravings late at night for over a week now. SO I bought some sugar free popsicles, but ate 4 of them last night. :?
I have so much to do, but can't seem to get myself going. Can someone give me teh kick I need?
Tinkerbell, Hang in there, that perfect job is there somewhere.
Pam, wish you were closer, think of the trouble we could have gotten into today shopping.
Claire, I'm so glad Ronnie is feeling better and that the poor man finally got to mow that lawn! I iron as we need, and that's it!
Cheri and Esmerelda, I hope you are both feeling better.
Uruslinda, Missed you and our quote today.
Pixie, Was today it??? Are you on summer vacation now my friend????
Rosebud and Twirlergirl, you ladies have any easy interesting SB recipes you'd like to share?
LeiasMom, I hope I did not hurt you when I fell off the wagon.
Sorry if I missed anyone, my brain is frozen from all those popsicles.
Have a great day all! :circle:

Well, I've never had to do this before, but I walked out on a job today. Left at 9:30 AM. I was the next target & I won't even give anyone an opportunity to ruin my name & I think she was very capable of it. I won't risk my nursing license w/someone like her. She would be the type that would try to hurt someone that way. The nurse I was to be working with from Monday on also told me that he's leaving w/in two weeks, but doesn't want to give a notice, as he knows that she'll just make it so he can't come in any longer & he has a wife & 2 year old to support. So, it's done. I emailed the nurse recruiter I spoke with yesterday & let her know also & hope to have interviews next week or the week after.
Tomorrow a couple more guitars are going. No choice. DH appears to have a good attitude about it. That will take care of the July rent so some pressure is off.
Too bad about that job. It could be a great job w/a good office manager. It's got a state of the art medical record type of program. It was great. But, she was not. Too bad, so sad. :tink:

HEAVE! HEAVE! HEAVE!
Here's the rope. Everyone who's on the wagon for today, PULL. Everyone who fell off, hold on tight! We'll get there.
Today was a good day. I bought cookies for my department but didn't eat any. Sorry I missed yesterday. Went out to dinner with friends and saw Harry Potter. I only had 1 piece of pizza (boy was it yummy). I banked enough calories so that I wasn't actually being bad. Was very good today. Just got back from a walk.
I'm really enjoying the positive feedback. Every day someone is telling me that they have noticed I've lost weight. That makes it much easier to stay on the wagon.
My new goal is to be 135 pounds by the 4th of July. I should be able to pull that off. Then, I'll come up with a new goal (I think it will be 125 by my 10th anniversary on August 13. We'll deal with that when the time comes.
See you all tomorrow!
