Thank God for DVC! Those were my last words before I went to sleep last night.
We've just gotten back from a weekend out of town for a ball tournament. One night with all of us in one motel room has given me a new appreciation for our DVC purchase. :D
The entire team was staying at the Country Inn & Suites. Nice enough place. Our family of 5 was getting ready for bed, and were finally settled with DH and I in one queen bed, two kids in the other, and the youngest in a crib which she's just about too big for. It had been kind of an ordeal getting everyone bathed, settled down without cover fights, and OK with the room temp.
As I'm about to dose off, I tell John exactly what my thoughts are..."thank God for DVC". One night in a regular motel room reminded me just how nice it is to have seperate bedrooms, two or three TVs, a tub and a shower, or even two baths, and a blessed central air system that doesn't rattle like those darn units by the window in most motel rooms. Is it even possible to get a happy medium on those things?
I can tell you for certain that we'll be enjoying our 10 day vacation in October MUCH more by having the comforts of "home". :D
