Good morning everyone!
I'm still enjoying the fact that it is summer vacation for me, and not getting a whole lot done, but rather just enjoying myself. Went shopping to Target last night and bought shorts a size smaller. Also managed to find a bathing suit that fit comfortably for only $7.94. So, now I've got two bathing suits that I feel comfortable enough to wear around at Stormalong Bay, and smaller shorts. Oh and I'm three pounds lighter two. Color me happy!
Goal:
get something accomplished here today
drink some dang water
Hope you all have a wonderful day today. :circle: Enjoy!!

Hey guys! Way to go Sheryl. That's awesome!
A good day for me today. Took my mom to Chili's. I had the house salad with light ranch on the side. I didn't even taste mom's dessert. I had motivation -- I tried on lots of my pre-pregnancy clothes. I can wear pretty much all of them. Some look better than others. But, I can get into my suits! I don't wear suits often, but the thought of not having one when I needed it was awful. I'm not into my size 5 or most of my size 8 stuff; however, I haven't been into my size 5 stuff since before Leia was born. I still have hopes of that before the cruise.
Sticking to the 2 pounds per week weight loss. Down 20 pounds as of this weekend. I'm looking to drop another 15-20 pounds. This can be done. . .
Need to finish laundry tonight. Also need to exercise. I've walked some, but it was canvassing the neighborhood on our fire ant problem -- not exercising. I'll do that when the temperature drops a few degrees. Hope the rest of you guys have a wonderful Sunday!

Hi BABES:
Checking in at 6 pm is better then not at all isn't it????
Had dinner and DH is back in den watching TV (and dozing off). I've been busy chasing rabbits with a broom! Don't know what to do. Remember my bird island (Alcatraz) that I've been waiting so long to put in? It's only half paid for and the rabbits are killing off most of the plants. Found one yesterday on it's hind legs reaching the high leaves of one plant and it had already eaten all the leaves at the bottom. It "mowed" my daisies out front and "mowed" the verigated grass under one bird bath. Two other plants are looking pretty sickly. I was running around last night with a pot in my hand until I noticed a group of neighbors on the deck next door watching me and then I had to slink back in the house. I came in and lost the pot and grabbed some tabasco sauce instead. I dripped it all over the remains of the plant and put some cloves in the dirt under it (grabbed whatever I could in the closet). I saw it go near the big plant once and hop away only to find it near another plant. Have to get to store some time this week for rabbit repellant (or a GUN!!!).
DH is eating a little better and temp has stayed below 99 all day. I can tell he's feeling better as he's giving me "lip" today when I tell him to take his meds or drink more. Men!!!!
We are due for blood work tomorrow and then for check-ups at doc on Thursday to check our cholesterol and weight. Oh boy!!! We've been off the last month due to all the travels and the last week we've eaten whatever DH felt like and did not follow any diet. Don't need to hear doc yell at me on top of being so tired and taking care of DH. Maybe he'll have pity on us due to circumstances and give us a gentle tap on the wrist.
Anyhow, time to get back on board the wagon. Only the wagon is going to have to be alittle larger for me!!!! How about a "hummer"???
Sheryl you are doing fantastic! Two bathing suits??? I do not plan on even mentioning that word right now.
Esmerelda: You bought shoes? Too cool! That's shopping!!!
Leias Mom: Size 5? 8? Do they make sizes that small?
Great job to you too!
See y'all tomorrow (after lab if we go). Haven't been to gym in 1 1/2 weeks as I stayed home with DH when he had the high fever and was dizzy. No more excuses once I can leave him alone without a sitter.

I'm back.
Twirler Girl, I hope that rain does not stay long for you.
Emse, YES!! Yahoo Shoes are shopping, groceries count to. Are you sure you don't want to become a power shopper?
Amy, you are amazing and reading your posts everyday, makes me think "I can do this". Oh my size 5, girl I've not had a size 5 since I was in middle school. I know you will do this!!
Claire, Our dog has killed 5 rabbits this past winter in our yard. And it is pathetic. He chases them into the fence and they break their necks, then he sits next to them and howls. He never does anything to them, just sits there howling. We think it makes him sad. I'd call the doctor and tell him what a crazy few weeks you've had, see if they will give you a few more weeks.
Well, better get back to cleaning out the closet.

:tink: Well congrats to Sheryl & LeiasMom on your clothing sizes decreasing. Good for you! :bounce:
LeiasMom, considering that you went...THUMP....off the wagon, it sounds as though you're doing just fine. Good for you.
I did horrible today. We need to go grocery shopping & I have had three hot dogs today :? was so hungry. We did a dry run to where I 'm having orientation this week & I was starving, as I had the last of the watermelon for breakfast and nothing since. So, we stopped at a McDonald's. I got the grilled chicken sandwich :confused2: which is really a piece of white stuff w/a slight chicken flavor. I couldn't even eat it. Horrible. It's got to be made up of animal knuckles & intestines or something. I have :?: no clue what it was, but it wasn't chicken...as I know it. so, I ate the french fries & then the hot dogs once I got home. Oh, the hot dogs were after some corn chips, because I hadn't realized there were hot dogs in the house. I was starving.
So, since there's no lettuce in the house & no $$$ in the account I'll be making some type of chicken w/macaroni stuff for work for lunch tomorrow. I can't go w/o anything and I can't buy out.
So........really bad day w/the food. Congrats to everyone else though for doing so well. Claire, I'm glad that Ron is feeling better.
I'll probably start tomorrows' thread before I go to bed to get refocused. :fly: It helps to have it in print. :tink:
