We ate lunch here the first day we arrived at WDW last week. We were checking into the BWV and were starving. Well, I was, Ken had a humongo breakfast at the Cracker Barrell earlier. I just couldn't eat.

Anyway, we headed toward the Boardwalk and since Ken brews his own beer, we chose Big River Grille and Brewery. We both had always wanted to eat here. I had a roasted Turkey sandwich which was fabulous!A perfectly cool meal for a hot day. Ken had the Beer cheese soup which was out of this world and the kids had a hot dog.

Ken also had Summer Seasonal Wowser's Wheat beer, which I have to admit was really good and I'm not a beer drinker.

This resturant could use a little facelift, IMO. You know, new carpets and a fresh coat of paint. But, all in all, it was a fantastic meal. Our waiter was very attentive and even gave all of us a to go cup of soda with no additional charge.

I'll give it 1 and 1/2 thumbs up out of 2.

That's good to know anad since we will be spending part of our time at BC, I plan on taking full advanatage of having the boardwalk. How'd you like the BWV?

I've often wondered about Big River Grill, I thought it might be a place my DH could enjoy (German Lutheran beer drinking heritage and all). Thanks for the reminder Cheri- mabye we can sneek off for a quick bit in July (followed by Ice Cream at Beaches and Cream of course)!!

It's a really fun place, we often eat outside and have caught the fireworks as well during dinner time.My favorite room is 5 floors right above it :)
