For folks who have been to this dinner show, I'm interested to know why you like it. Is it because beer is included in your admission price? Is it the food? Is it the show? Is it tradition?

I went last night and was not hugely impressed. I thought the food was rather bland and with the wet rib, very messy. Their horses are beautiful - the Andalusians and other breeds - and performed amazingly, however, I felt that the show itself was very slow and repetitive until the fighting began. Now that was cool but it seemed to take forever until the show got to that point. We were also seated in the 2nd to last row of the green section, in the corner, which was just about as far from everything else as you could get so maybe this is tainting my opinion. But seriously, I know people who go every year without fail and I just don't see why based on my visit.

Thanks!

I have only been once in 1998. We was seated in the first row, Our food was so good. We had CHicken that was to die for and maybe there was a rib too? Its been a while so I dont remember but the chicken was so good Ill never forget it.

Would I go again? No I think its terribbly over priced. My experience was in my teenage girls. That trip was one last big hoorah before my oldst was to graduate high school. They both played it up and we had more fun with them. To me the show was a tad slow but ok. I think its something fun to do at least once in your life.

I haven't been to MT in quite a few years, but I loved it more for the show than the food. I enjoyed the jousting, the falconry, and especially the swordplay.

The food was pretty good, but nothing to write home about, and I always despised the lack of utensils. Sure, in 1200AD they didn't use forks, but we do now, and I didn't like getting food all over my hands, scalding myself with the incredibly hot pewter soup bowl, and generally making a mess of my meal.

We have a MT in Maryland now, at Arundel Mills Mall in Anne Arundel County, south of Baltimore, and my friends and I do want to try it again, because it's been years since any of us have seen the show.

My next trip to Orlando, however, has Dixie Stampede on the list instead of MT.

You should sneak some utensils in. My Spongebob Squarepants fork and spoon are very small and fit into my purse easily.

I enjoyed it and went a few times. I don't remember remember ribs though. We did have chicken which was plain but good - but I like chicken. I didn't see a problem with no utensils and I guess I have thicker skin than Willcad because no problem with the soup either.

It is overpriced and not something I would do often. We actually went twice because of someone else that was with us. My DD is really into Midieval things so that is why we went in the first place, and probably why we might go back.

Agreed, food was ok, but I won't go back, overpriced even for vacationer pricing

I went once in 1994 and had a good time. It was my first dinner show like that, so it was cool. I have no desire to go back though. ESPECIALLY after the movie "Cable Guy" with Jim Carrey. ROFL! If you havent seen that movie yet, you have too, cause the Medievil times part was absolultey awesome!! You can never take the real life one seriously after watching that movie. Now I wanna go rent it. LOL

The food was ok, but my favorite part was cheering for our color

We went once to the one in Orlando and once to the one in Myrtle Beach, SC - both times we were with another couple - and that added to the enjoyment - we loved cheering for our knight - both times our knight won. We went through the dungeon and checked out all the instruments of torture - bought streamers/flags of our color and waved them through the matches - our knight threw flowers at us and I caught a rose : ) before the show starts you can tell them your special day - birthday, anniversary etc. - we had the King come out and in a small ceremony had Tramp kneel before him and he was knighted : )

There's a cash bar and you can get a drink while mingling around looking at stuff - We liked the chicken and the ribs, the soup too even - did not scald us - we had unlimited beer as the couple on our other side did not drink and were some other nationality - so our waiter gave us all their share : ) We didn't go for the food - we went for the show and generally the overall experience of it all - we love horses beautiful animal - both times we had great seats - centered and lower rung, I do believe that helps the experience. We didn't find the show to be slow, but then again we were yakking with the other couple who went with us and eating.

We won't go back - not that we didn't like it - just that there are so many others to try - this next trip we're doing the SeaWorld Luau and maybe the Pirate Dinner Show - we saw the Lippizzner (sp) Stallions in our home area and loved that show also - beautiful horses - very slow show moreso than Medieval Times - but that's okay with us - the slowness added to the beauty of it all.

We've also been to mystery dinner shows - where again the food isn't everything but the overall experience is fun.
