Great morning Healthinators! I took a personal day today so I am off to Maine for lunch. I just have to do some shopping on the way.
Today I will
Eat healthy (well, as best as I can)
Drink only water
Walk Away the Pounds
Soak up the sunshine
Have a super successful day everyone. Thank you all for being here, you've kept me from going off the deep end. I'll be back up on the wagon soon.

My goals are simple:
1. Drink only water.
2. Try not to soak up the sun
3.eat sensibly
4. at least consider going swimming with Elayna
Pixie, I can't even find the wagon, much less think about getting on it. Come pick me up when you get on it!

Hi BABES:
Can't believe I'm one of the first few BABES in here at this hour.
It was HOT HOT HOT here yesterday (high 90's/100) and due to that fact, DH is sick with a fever. He HAD to play golf (doesn't get out with neighbors very often) and I made sure he packed a few bottles of water and his lunch (the other guys don't eat while they play but DH has diabetes). Since I was working on 2 hours sleep from the night before, I didn't want to leave the house but had to pick up his pills at the drug store and needed meat for dinner. I came back exhausted from the heat to find him laid out on the living room sofa sleeping. He was hot. I figured it was from being in the sun all day whacking a ball around so I told him to take a cool shower which he did and then fell asleep in the bed on top of the newly folded/washed clothes! Anyhow, he got up to eat but said he was still warm so I took his temp and it was almost 102. I gave him some Tylenol and he laid down again. I kept checking during the night and it went down and then back up to 101+ so he got more Tylenol and later at 4:00 a.m. an alcohol rubdown and then he sat up in den to watch TV but fell asleep and I hit the bed for another 2 hours. Got up and dragged him back to bed and his fever had broken and was about 99. I'm assuming it was from the heat but it could be a flu or virus. He's complaining of muscle aches which could be from golf, the heat, virus, flu, ticks, west nile virus etc. I'll see how he feels when he gets up later and then talk to doc.
"Boys" are such pains when they are sick!!!
Anyhow, my goals today are to stay inside and not do much. Too hot for gym or to walk.
We have tickets for the first play of the season at the local summer stock theater and I think I will be looking for someone to go with me in place of DH. Our tickets are paid for the whole season.
Have a good day. Watch that heat. Exercise in moderation according to the weather. DRINK DRINK DRINK lots of water!!!

Good Morning!
Just got back from the dentist. DH and I played baby swap during the others appointment. I'm glad that's over for another 6 mnths. On the way home we hear that the were closing schools early today because of the heat. That means DGS will join us around 1:30PM. DH has to return to work so I'll have all 3 kidletts all afternoon.
Todays goals:
Drink 64 oz of water. I been off my mark all week. I did to really focus on this today.
Eat healthy on SBD - no illegal snacks.
Have a magical day!

Hi all,
It is hot here too. I think today is suppose to be worse than yesterday. Last night it wasn't too bad and not too humid and a nice little breeze, so I didn't die when I mowed the lawn. It actually felt nice enough that I did a few other things around the yard that needed doing. There is a lot more to do, but the weather is suppose to get back in the 70s after today so I'll wait to do it.
Bookwood, I didn't cook the lobster. I had the store steam it for me, but I did cook the butter. I used to boil my own because it taste so much better, but it gets messy so I hardly ever do that anymore. Besides I need a new lobster pot. Whenever I'm at the store I always cruise by the seafood looking for sales. Sometimes when they get new lobster shipments in they cook up the old ones and sell them even cheaper. They are cold then, but I just use for salad or melt some butter and throw in the meat and nuke for a few seconds to warm up but not overcook.
I do wish I was Pixie who was off to Maine for lunch today. Yum, then I would be having some really good lobster. Although I would find it real hard to avoid going to Old Orchard Beach for the best carmel corn around.
Goals:
Stay focused

Home for lunch for a few minutes. Ran out of salad fixins so it's back to my old quickie standby -- cereal. Not great for you low carb people, but I love cereal. It's easy to portion, and very yummy. I always feel like I'm cheating with a really yummy cereal (today I was a bit bad -- Cocoa Pebbles -- but YUM).
DH is supposed to come home today. I'm very happy about that. I'm looking forward to taking a long walk with him to hear about his trip.
Goals for today
Get through tons of stuff at work
Eat well
exercise
That's good enough for today!

:tink: Well, it's not hot here. It's 67 degrees and :sun: and is glorious 8) today. Didn't wake until 10:30AM, had a bad nights sleep. I did sleep, but from after 1 AM to when DH got home around 4:30 AM, then when he came to bed he took the pillow off the top of my head that I had there because the dogs woke me when he got home & that woke me again! AND it was MY pillow! He thought it was one of his! We have the same amount of pillows, so I don't know why he thought that. So, I didn't sleep well after that.
Will probably get a walk in today w/DH. :walk: :sun:
Had my Cream of Wheat w/strawberries. I'll have my seafood salad thing mid-afternoon-ish. Don't know about dinner. The salad is my big meal for the day. :D
Drink my waters. :D
Eat smart! :D
Yesterday, I had a really hard time in late afternoon. I was starving & shouldn't have been. I was craving food so bad. I ate a few saltines & was ok, but I could have eaten a ton of food if someone put some in front of me.
Got 10 resumes out yesterday & will work on some today to go to business/clerical type of work. If I don't have a job in two weeks, I'm ditching the resume & getting a waitressing job.

Just popping in here quickly to make my post. Boy, was it hot in the kitchen at school today! However, only two days to go!!!
Pixe, I hope you did me proud with your shopping today! You GO GIRL!
I've done good again, as I've not had any time to eat. Some shorts are starting to be noticably roomy, so I just may need to go shopping myself.
Hope you all had a wonderful day! :circle:
