Tag-O-Mania 2010 - Illuminations or Fantasmic dessert party? Other ideas?

Hi everyone! Well the new year is upon us and I have a Tag-O-Mania question for those that hope to attend...

MouseFanTravel does a great job of tracking down some great group rates and typically adding in a special 'extra' for those booking the package. In the past this has been an Illuminations Dessert Party.

My question is - are we still liking the Illuminations Dessert Party best? Do we want to try for a Fantasmic Dessert Party instead? Other thoughts?

I asked about the MK Wishes dessert party but that is not something Disney allows MFT to book as a group event. Everyone would have to call and sign up for it themselves if we were to do that one.

So - what do you think? Lets brainstorm and share opinions.

Great question Dave to get the year of planning started :yes: I would like to see the dessert party changed from Illuminations to Fantasmic. I have only been to one Fantasmic Dessert party before and I remember it being very nice. We sat up on the tiered area behind the arena seating with tables and chairs. If memory serves me correct, the desserts were about the same, but the presentation was a bit nicer.

Cathy and I are planning on being at Tag-O-Mania 2010 and I would vote for a Fantasmic Desert Party! We have only been to Fantasmic once or twice and it's been a long time.

At the risk of being run out on a rail, Illuminations is getting "old and tired" for me. I have never really been a big fan to begin with. I attend the parties to be with my friends.

But Fantasmic sounds like a great idea. It's been years since I've seen it.

Just to toss a question out for who are planning...

Sunday is usually the day for the Studios. If people chose the Fantasmic! party, would you consider switching the Studios to an earlier day so those who have to leave by Sunday night can still attend the party?

Dates are being checked for availability but I thought the same thing Robin. Sunday night isn't a great night because a lot of folks head home before Sunday evening.
