How's the Store At Pop Century?

How well is the store at Pop Century stocked? If you've stayed at an All Star how do the shops compare? More items? Grocery selection better?

I found the shop at Pop to carry much less stock (both in the giftshop and grocery area) than the Allstars. I know for a fact that the grocery/ drug store area is much smaller. We needed somekind of antibiotic cream last month and they did not have any at Pop. The grocery area consists of 1 cooler that is much smaller than All Star Sports, 1 shelf of drug store items and a very small area for groceries. I know at All Star Music and Sports I have bought pretzels, Entemanns pastry items, bottled soft drinks etc. and had seen cookies, bread etc. as well. At Pop most of the bagged snacks were the Disney brands like you would find at Main St. Confectionary (pretzels, trail mixes, candy, dried fruits etc.) not bags of national brand chips or crackers that you would buy at home. I didn't see any Entemann's boxes or loaves of bread. I wasn't really looking for any of these items and if I had asked maybe someone would have pointed them out to me but I did notice there was a difference.

There were no "groceries" per se-meaning bread, jugs of milk, water, lunchmeats, bagels, etc that they carried at All Stars when we were there 2 years ago. They had a little wall of sundry items which looked quite complete, though hard to say unless you needed something in particular! I know for a fact they did not carry lactaid. The overall store didn't seem as big to me, but it is laid out so differently that it is a bit hard to tell. You could fill a box with Mr Potato Head stuff-just not quite all the things they had at DD.

Geez, that store sounds like our local Disney store :cry: For the last few years, they have cut back on all the good stuff. I rarely ever bother to stop in anymore. THAT is saying somthing, cause it used to be the first place I went too :lol: Oh well, thats less money I have to spend on each trip now ;-)
