:tink: I bought a couple of these at the drug store yesterday. They're a low carb meal replacement, I think. I bought the Mango Lime which is delicious. It only has 90 calories, says it's low carb, but the container says 16 grams total carbs and 7 grams of protein.

I also bought another one, Tropical Blend. That one has 210 calories.

Who's tried these and what do you guys think of of these? :tink:

I've seen Snapple before but not as a meal replacement. I'll have to check into this. Sounds yummy!

:tink: They are yummy, but I didn't feel as though it was a meal replacement. I was hungry shortly, (w/in the hour), so I'm not sure if it's as good as Slim Fast shakes, which I don't recall using. Do Slim Fast Shakes hold you like a meal or a snack? :tink:

I use slimfast all the time. It is my standard breakfast at work every morning. The shake holds me over until lunch. A meal bar for lunch will hold me until an afternoon snack at 3. I substitute quite a bit for variety, but it has worked for me.

Remember, though, that a Slimfast shake has about 220 calories. Something with 90 calories probably isn't enough for a whole meal. I would have more faith in the Tropical Blend one.

I haven't tried the Slimfast lo carb -- I'm not very carnivorous, so it wouldn't work for me. So, I can't say it would fill me up like the lovely carbs in the normal one :-)

Amy, the tropical one didn't fill me any better than the 90 calorie did & I expected it to. You answered my question though about the shakes holding you & satisfying your appetite until the next meal. I do like protein & have been eating more of it since I've been around DH again since 4/15. I to will eat whatever is easy, like the same thing over & over, like the bars or whatever is satiating me. My diet was mostly carbs though since Dec. when I first cut back. Thanks.
