Looking for some advice.
I was planning on getting my Tables in Wonderland again-mine was up at the end of August. I would use it at Tagomania but not enough to pay for it itself. When my sister, niece and I went it easily paid for itself quickly. And it was $60 , I think, instead of the $75. Now, I will be able to use it for a summer trip next summer, but I guess I am trying to justify putting out the $75 now or waiting. I'm only planning two sit down meals and a refillable mug and some food at the hotel food court.

As much as I don't want to put the money out now, I am thinking I might as well get it and have it taken care of. Decisions! Decisions! Decisions!

PS: I'm one of the unlucky people who missed out on the 15 month renewal of my AP by 36 hours. No, luck is not in my corner when it comes to timing.

I think I"m missing out on the 15 months too- I had a voucher when they announced it. (I'm hoping to take my letter and voucher and beg lOL) however, I don't hold out much hope.

I may have to rethink the Tables in Wonderland card though- I'll go check out the prices and discounts. Thanks for reminding me.

I decided not to get the card this time either. With the price increase I just could not justify for myself.

I think with 3 of us eating at marathon though it might be enough help to pay for itself.

I decided at the $60 rate, I wasn't necessarily getting my money's worth, so I'm letting mine expire at the end of November (I did use it for 3 trips, and probably did save enough money to reach the $60).

Also, it seems like the people I dine with during December trips have it, so I just eat off of their card ;)

I think it would be more worth it for bigger families or couples, but as someone who usually travels solo, it's just not worth it to me anymore. I find that the dining plan is much more cost effective for me, and it helps me budget better.

Are refillable mugs on the Tables in Wonderland? I didn't notice that on the list on allearsnet?

No. I purchased one at the POFQ in May when I got breakfast there, and the computer gave me the discounted price on the food, but not the mug.

I am not a big fan anymore of the Tables in Wonderland however, if you are staying at a resort that does not have a sit down then it can work out over a year.

I think it depends on where you eat, how many people and how often you will use it. It truly is on of those your actual mileage may vary.

I do look at it as a gift I give to my dinning mates when using it for a group. If you look at it that way you can reach that $75 mark quickly.

Tables in Wonderland basically pays your tip on table service restaurants. They are bill you the tip, so if you get bad service, you will still be forced to give the full tip.

Honestly, unless you have a decent size group and plan to do a lot of table service, I don't see it being a good value. Resorts that don't have sit down restaurants accept it in the food court. That includes all the values. I'm not sure how it works at Port Orleans, as the French Quarter has no restaurant and at Riverside I believe it's closed for breakfast.

If you plan to eat a lot of counter service, particularly in the parks, you're not going to get much use out of it.
