:tink: Morning Healthinators!
Pixie, have fun watching your son. Wow!
Goals today: :D
Drink water, already started, awake since 4:30 AM & didn't go to sleep until after 1 AM, so will have to get some rest today. It's throwing my entire day off. AND they're putting in a sidewalk out front, which we didn't even need  a new one :confused2: AND the apartment complex notified us by a note on our door which wasn't there at 4 PM yesterday but was when we brought the dogs out at 9 PM that some workmen are coming sometime  today between 10 AM & 4 PM to put hand railings inside the house along the stairway. I guess that's for when they start selling these places as condo's, (we were notified by certified mail of that last week), for next year. No matter, we planned on moving by then anyway because we pay a huge rent! I guess I need an attitude adjustment. I'm just not used to renting an apartment & I guess this is part of apartment life.
It's 8) :sun: and warm, will be 80-82 today. Everyday is a nice day. I do love it here. :eyelove: Might get out and walk if they do the stairway early. Have to be here when they're here because of the 3 dogs.
Eat smart...my shorts are just a nudge tighter today, so I'll watch the intake of even my fruits. I love those Bing cherries that are in now & have been going overboard, trying to justify that's it's fruit, so it's good for you. Have to remember to watch portion control. I know better.
Need to get some sleep today. I don't know when or how with all that's going on, but it's needed. I hope I get a good :deepSleep: nights sleep tonight.
Work on resumes. I didn't get a job that I had a great interview for and I'm not sure why. I knew the company front & back when I interviewed & I may have to tweak the resume or something. My husband was excited for me yesterday when a letter came from them.   I had to tell him that if it's good news they call you  and if you don't get the job, it's a letter.  That's still funny to me. :tink:

HI Everyone!
Just got back from anniversary trip. DH did a great job making all the arrangements. We had a wonderful time. Did a lot of walking, took time for the Jacuzzi and pool. Had our anniversary dinner in a German Restaurant. The food was delic. I'm just not sure how far off my carbs I was. Oh well, we are back on track now. I convinced DH I had to go back on my food plan and he decided he try it for the next two weeks. That will really help me out. He won't be bringing home dessert for awhile.
Todays Goals:
Drink 64 oz of water. Doing great today- already 30 oz
Eat healthy on SBD
Has anyone looked at the milk diet or tried the low carb milk? I would like opinions on both.
Have a magical day!

Hello
Today's quote:
"Flatter me, and I may not believe you. Criticize me, and I may not like you. Ignore me, and I may not forgive you. Encourage me, and I may not forget you." - William Arthur
Guess that's why everyone is so memorable in this room :)
Goals for the day
Core exercises (done)
drink water
clean up kitchen
make good choices
Good luck to Pixie's son!
Happy Day, All! let's ROCK

Twirler Girl,
We bought the low carb milk last night. My daughter said it was great. Considering she drank 1/2 the carton, it can't be too bad!
I will try some on my Atkin's cereal tomorrow morning, and give you a second opinion.
Oh by the way, they have three types-fat free, low fat, and regular. We got the fat free.

Hi BABES:
Getting a late start today. It's after 2:00 pm and I'm just checking posts.
Got to sleep late and up early. Boy-Do I wish I could sleep one whole night!!!!
I'm getting cranky and have no patience with DH. He just doesn't understand that lack of sleep can make me grouchy and he should just agree with all I say. (fat chance!).
Anyhow, got some laundry done from last week's trip and have to iron and pack for Hershey.
Nametags are all done. Went to AAA for easiest way to Hershey as I know we take the longer route. They have discounted Hershey tickets but they don't sell the senior eveing tickets (after 5:00 pm). We'll get those at the entrance to the Park.
Drinking water. Had tuna wrap for lunch. Egg for breakfast. Guess I should decide on dinner soon too. No gym for almost 1 1/2 weeks. HAVE to get there tomorrow. We've has so many thunder/lightning storms that we haven't been able to walk outside either in weeks.
Have a great rest of the day. Getting excited about seeing everyone at Hershey this weekend.

Hey guys! I'm definitely running late today. Busy day at work. Got to finish feeding the baby, then off for a walk.
Work was ok today. Had a lunch meeting. My assistant ordered a salad with fat free dressing for me. It helps that they understand my diet and help.
Tomorrow I have to present in front of all managers and above in my company. Oy. Not looking forward to it. Keep your fingers crossed that I don't flub it up. I have not had time to prepare.
All of you are doing fabulous. Keep it up. You are such wonderful motivation for me.

LeiasMom.
You WILL NOT FLUB! Breathe. Smile. Speak simply, naturally, slowly.
Before the next time you have to present, though, you might want to visit the website of a friend of mine - thecontrarypublicspeaker.com
She's a big Disney fan too, and has LOTS of helpful stuff to make presenting easier to do well.
Good LUCK!

Thanks, Ursulinda. I'll check out the site.
Fortunately, I only have to speak for a short time. I just hope I have some time tomorrow to prep. I hate to wing it. . .
I'm so glad you guys are here. . .

LeiasMom, you'll do great tomorrow! That is really thoughtful of your assistant. :D
Twirlergirl, you only have an anniversary once a year, enjoy it & don't count! :D
Did get out 3-4 resumes today. Some from the paper, some from on-line connections. I did tweak the resume a bit. Let's see if we get a bite. :D
DH & I took a walk early evening to the drug store & got four bags of stuff. He forgot that we walked & had bought 3 liters of diet soda for him.  I don't even do that any longer. Too much sodium. I stick to water. So, that felt good to walk. Something was going on over at Warner Brothers though, lots of cars in & out & food going in. I wanna knowwwwwwwwwwww   :tink:
