Site Server upgrade complete

I was contacted by the site server people today, and the upgrade has been completed (for about an hour now).

This should help improve speed around here (I hope!) :)

Let me know if things seem more responsive or if you continue to have problems.

Hi Dave:

Was having problems this a.m. and around noon. I waited more then 15-20 minutes to get on and finally decided to try later. I kept getting that "internal Error" reading. I got on much sooner just now (4:30) but it's still a little slow downloading each area you want to go to. Better then before.

When the site was down today, it was because of the upgrade. Of course, I didn't KNOW that until it was complete! ;)

Only time will tell if this improves overall site speed. I'm sure there will still be slower times when the server (or internet in general) is bogged down. That is to be expected with any site though.

Well, right now it seems to be cruisin at warp speed. http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/f/scatter.gif I can really see a difference! It will be great if the speed stays this fast all the time!

I'm dialed in as I just moved and I'm waiting for my DSL line to be transferred, and the site even seems faster to me. And low and behold...it didn't make me login again, as it usually does. :D
