How Long is the Ferry Ride from WL to MK?

and Pioneer Hall to the Boardwalk

MK-WL about 10 minutes by boat

WL- Pioneer Hall at Ft Wilderness Campground, another 10-15 minute boat ride and 2-3 minute walk from the boat dock

Pioneer Hall to Boardwalk - 2-3 minutes back to the boat dock, another 10 minute boat ride back to MK to get a bus, then 20-25 minutes on the bus to Boardwalk

I'm cleaning the house this morning and going through bags of scraps - bits of paper and odds and ends that I've been holding on to. About 1/2 hour after I asked the transportation ? I found all the park maps - receipts from our meals and gift shops, parking passes and "transpotration" brochure that explains it all to you for Disney World 2000 and Universal's maps too - oooh and a magnet that I promised a co-worker with 2000 on it lol - it's been in the back of my closet for four years - ackkk lol

Always ask when a boat arrives at WL about which direction it is traveling. Sometimes you can catch one that goes directly and takes about 5 minutes. Trips are never long enough actually. I find these boat rides very relaxing!

During the off-season when crowds are low, the boats from MK to WL and FW are often consolidated into one boat that goes from MK to FW then on to WL and back to MK. This adds about 10 minutes to the total trip time because of the extra stop.

Disney likes to change the boat routes and schedules every so often to experiment with what is most efficient and cost effective, but generally the resort launches from MK are lots of fun and don't take long.

Last Nov/Dec, it appeared that every other boat made the direct trip to MK, alternating with the one that stopped at FW.
