July 09 Photography Assignment - Picnics

I can't believe it has been 6 months since we did this. I love seeing all the pictures that everyone comes up with. Be it old or new post your pictures that have to do with picnics. Show us the food, the fun and the festivites.

I'll start us off with our dessert from 4th of July. I know I posted it before but it's the only picnic type picture I have right now.

It’s a truffle. It’s got all of these layers. First there’s a layer of ladyfingers, then a layer of jam, then custard, which I made from scratch, [Joey and Ross make impressed faces] then raspberries, more ladyfingers, then beef sauteed with peas and onions, [Joey and Ross look like something’s wrong] then a little more custard, and then bananas, and then I just put some whipped cream on top!

LOL - Man, I thought you had totally screwed up that post WillCAD and had somehow posted Cathy's recipe... Then I read it... and remembered that episode of Friends! :rofl:

Got any Beef, onions and peas in there Cathy? :D MMMmmmmm

I forgot my camera for our July 4th picnic and have no pictures to share... Although I did get a blurry picture of the Blue Angels on my iPhone before we went to the picnic... Can't BELIEVE I didn't bring my camera for that! :doh: :doh:
