It's such a dreary day here in New England that I'm daydreaming on our next trip. DH and I just figured out the days and times for our 2 "must" PSs -- Boma and Chef Mickeys. (We'll likely hit LeCellier or the Yachtsman another evening, but don't feel like we need to sign up for that in advance.)
What about you? Have you called in some PSs for your summer Disney trip, or do you have a couple in mind?

Only PS we have for July is CRT. The girls were saying they aslo wanted to eat at Prime Time or Sci Fi Dine In. We had planned to eat all our meal in the cabins- but discounts on the cabins aren't available so we're probably staying at Pop Century instead and hadn't discussed eating plans. I like to have at least 1 warm meal a day when eating out of coolers so we'll prpbably hit a few Counter SErvice places. Any suggestions?

We aren't headed to WDW until 12/26 and know we need to make PS for anything we want that week (from experience of the last two years). Brown Derby, Kona Cafe, Boma are the definites! May have to try some new ones with the addition of some to the DVC member discounts (Yachtsman steakhouse?).

We discovered Le Cellier this last trip and it is on our must do list now.
We always go to Ohanas
We love Kona CAfe too, but never make PS for it.
Bookwood, First a question: do you take a cooler with lunch with you into the parks? One of the women that works for me is going in two weeks and has asked me that question. Thanks in advance.
As for counter service places, we would recommend:
MK
Cosmic Rays - great variety from baked chicken to burgers
Pinoccio's Village Haus - love the wraps
Pecos Bill's - best burger fixin's bar in the park
Epcot
American Adventure - love their burgers
Electric Umbrella - great variety
Mexico - the counter service out by the lake has great food
AK
Tusker House for their variety and they have a great Deli Sandwich
MGM - The counter service place between Star Wars and Indiana Jones was really good and big enough to not seem crowded.
HTH and thanks again

Our next trip will be with little Emma and her parents so our first choices will be CRT for our little princess and any restaurant that serves a lot of fruit and veggies and not much meat and cheese 'cause that's the way they eat. I'm thinking Fresh and maybe Cal. Grill.
Oh and Prime Time for Bernard. Or maybe Whispering Canyon. He loves that kind of place.
For our next family trip (11/05) our must-dos are Akershus, HBD, Artist's Point, CP for lunch, and Garden Grill...and of course for Julia (who'll be 4) breakfast at CRT.
We have never tried the following and are hoping to: House of Blues, Citricos or Narcoossee's, and Cape May Cafe.

Hi everyone,
During my next trip I want to eat at some of the very few restaurants at which I've never eaten. I've never eaten at Shula's Steakhouse (am I man--or hungry--enough to eat the 48-oz Porterhouse in one shot? Stay tuned); Chef Mickey's; Whispering Canyon Cafe; California Grill; Citricos; Flying Fish; Narcoossee's; Shutters at Old Port Royale (CBR); Artist Point (WL--though I hesitate to eat salmon since I got sick on it at Red Lobster years ago).
AmyA: House of Blues (Downtown Disney West Side near the La Nouba tent) is very good but you may want to avoid the hot peppers in the Jambalaya--and if the food's too hot, get some milk and tomatoes to cool it off: these foods contain an enzyme that binds to the oil-based hot sauces and dissolves them.
I would also eat at LeCellier and at 'Ohana agan. Wonderful!

ps made for Hoop de Doo - have never tried it - thought we should give it a whirl
ps Bomas
ps Ohanas

I never really thought about this but I guess we do have several regular favorites!
We love the Garden Grill and plan a dinner there every trip. We also have a dinner at Boma's ( for the Zebra Domes for mom - :o )
We also like Pecos Bills, Flame Tree (yum), CRT for Breakfast, Breakfastosaurus and Chef Mickey's - we have only had dinner here but it is great.
We tried Liberty Tree last trip and will go back - we loved it. Whispering Canyon is also a favorite and we try to get here if we are not staying at WL.
Oh and our one must do is in The Land pavillion - eating chocolate chip cookies in front of the fountain! Mmmmm, Mmmmm!

Even though I'm very frugal, we have some favorites too.
We generally only do one or possibly two sit down meals each vacation but one of these is quite often Boma's. I could never tire of this buffet. Prime Time and O'Hana's are two of my other favorites.
My next trip is planned for Thanksgiving week, and I am going to Dixie Stampede and also to the Luau at Sea World. With our platinum membership at Sea World we get $10.00 plus 10% off the price, so it ends up being somewhat reasonable.
Bookwood, why not try Sci-Fi Dine for a mid afternoon dessert? The theming is what is so cool about this restaurant and they have a great dessert selection. Hmmm, come to think of it I might try my own advice!

Hmm....based on our most recent trip, there were some places that I would love to try again based on our good experience. Those would be:
50's Prime Time
Chef Mickey's (dinner)
Cape May (breakfast)
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Crystal Palace (lunch)
There were also places that we didn't get to go to, either because of the lack of time or because DH is a boring eater  . Those would be:
'Ohana
Restaurant Marrakesh
1900 Park Fare
All the more reason to take a short trip by myself this fall!! :D

My next trip will be for Mousefest and I will be solo so I'll most likely be sticking to counter service. If I do get to any sit downs I'd most likey go to LeCellier (fell in LOVE with it last month) and my beloved O'hana.
