Tagomania '09: Begin at the End Meet - Wed, 10/21 @ ~4:30pm

Begin at the End was the first Tagrel.com MouseFest meet ever held, and continues to be very popular. Last years attendance was over 50 people! Due to the popularity, we're going to continue having this meal at Tagomania, and we're even going to keep the name the same.

NOTE: Because so many Tags are arriving early these days, and attendance at the Wednesday night meets is now so high, it was decided to have TWO meal meets on Wednesday night to give everyone a choice of dining venue and perhaps split the crowd a bit. The other meal will be at the Wilderness Lodge's famed Whispering Canyon Cafe, and the signup thread will be started shortly. The ADRs for the meets will likely be at exactly the same time, since both places like to put large groups in with the first seating of the evening, at 4pm.

When signing up, please mention how many people in your party, and whether you're on the Disney Dining Plan or have a Tables In Wonderland (formerly Disney Dining Experience) card. The servers always ask this when we are seated.

REMINDER: With such a large group, it is very difficult to organize so many KTTW cards, credit cards, gift cards, etc, so if you can bring cash or Disney Dollars, please do so. The last two years, our server split out checks up and did a wonderful job, but we can't count on that happening every year, so we should be ready.

NOTE: I will make our ADR for however many people are signed up by the deadline, but there are always last-minute cancellations and additions, so I intend to overbook the meet a little. If you want to join us after the deadline, sign up and I'll add you to the list. The worst that can happen is that you'll have to stand outside in the rain watching the rest of us through the windows as we eat!

My trip starts on Oct 19 and I wasn't able to book any dining for my dates until yesterday. I'm not sure when WillCad's trip starts. He might still have a day or two to go before he hits 90 days.

My trip also starts Oct 19, but I'm not staying on-site, so I can't do the 90+10 thing. According to the PSCalculator, the actual 90-day mark for October 21 is July 23, so I'll be calling it in tomorrow, and will get an actual ADR time by the end of the weekend.

Ressies for large groups at Trail's End must ba made directly with Ft Wilderness Dining, rather than on the standard ADR line or web page, so I have to call FW directly and hunt around until I get a reply from the proper restaurant manager. Usually, that's a breeze; but last year I had a heck of a time getting through and it took several days of runaround before I got the ADR made.

I anticipate our ADR being sometime between 4 and 4:30pm, as it usually is. Trail's End likes to schedule the big groups close to opening time. A few minutes either way is not a problem, since we always like to meet early and mill about the front porch before our ADR time.

Just follow the path from the dock. It's a short walk. Once you come into the clearing from the dock, you can't miss the buildings straight ahead.
