Sorry to hear about your rain Sandy. The sun is shining here and it is going to get to the 80's. :sun: Terry and Zach just left to go on a field trip to spend the day with nature. Terry always goes on at least 1 field trip a year with each of the boys, and this one was right up his alley. They are going to a camp to do nature trails, canoeing, and outdoorsy type stuff (not my bag....WL is my idea of nature  ) and won't be home until late tonight. So after work Nick and I will go out to dinner and go shopping (that's right up my alley  ).

I've got some great news I'd like to share with you all. This just warms my heart. My sister Sandy called me yesterday in tears, (tears of joy), it seems our family and friends raised $4,548 in Dylan's honor for the JDRF walk and donations are still coming in in his name. The lady told her this was a major amount for our first year and we had no idea we could raise so much. It really warms my heart. So right now Sandy is busy writing many thank you's to send to all the folks who supported Dylan. We feel blessed.

Todays goals:
drink water
make healthy choices
DON'T spend all of Terry's money tonight  ..not sure I can curb my spending, I'm in a shopping mood. WATCH OUT!

Hope you all have a wonderful day and reach your goals! :circle:

That's great news about the fund raising efforts for JD! :D

I'm about to head out to the FLC. I'm going to try and get back to track walking today. I've been getting spoiled with the fans about the treadmills, and getting to watch TV while I walk. I need some pure walking in.

Other than that I'm going to try and not eat when I'm not hungry, and make good choices for meals and snacks.

Everyone have a great day! 8)

Good day all! Going to be nice and springy here today, bit overcast so far though.

I've got lots to do today but I wanted to check in and say hi! Ursulinda, we're going to miss you. Sheryl, that's soo cool!

I've got so much more energy lately. Bernard and I are both losing weight. I've got pants fitting that haven't for two years! Hurray!

It's such a blessing to have you all to share this with :)

:tink: Sheryl, that is great  news! Wow!

MissB, great progress. It does feel good. Congrats to you. :D

Goals today:

:D Smile :D

:D Drink all my water :D

:D Eat smart :D

Send out more resumes. It's another :sun: great 8) day here & I love it here, but I need to get a job. People think that because you're a nurse you should have a job right away, but I can't lift nor do I do well on anything other than a day shift, no weekends. I have to have a regular schedule because of my fibromyalgia & those jobs don't grow on trees. So, back to the old grindstone. :tink:

Hi BABES!

Gloomy Thursday it is. Mini-vent: Did not sleep more then one solid hour last night and I took my muscle relaxers, had no caffeine, did not do strenuous exercise beforehand etc. When I almost go to sleep, DH got up and woke me, then he came back and I got up ............and so it went all night. Almost got back to sleep at 6:00 a.m. when what do I hear ?(no, not Santa and his eight reindeer). The 'darn' construction men ALL over the place starting at 6:15. Got my husband up to call the guy in charge again but nothing was done. THEN, right ouside our living room window, we hear LOUDER banging - the crew had come to put up the rest of the foundation forms. Had to keep the shades down until we were dressed for the day (they could see clear through the house). Our street is FULL of huge chunks of dirt and mud and clay and trucks. My friend from high school is due here Saturday and I guess we won't be sitting out on the back porch at all with all the noise. Okay, mini-vent over.

Anyhow, as long as we were up, we got dressed and went to the gym. I really did not feel very energetic but managed to get through my normal routine (but I wasn't happy!!)

Then on the way home we stopped at the drug store and while DH was inside I realized I had a haircut appointment coming up soon. Checked my book to learn it was YESTERDAY! But I called and she had room for me later today. Oh boy, guess it's time to slow down when I forget appointments - that's not like me!

So, after checking posts I will:
Drink More Water (got some in at gym)
Work on nametags for Hershey Meet (soon as people tell me who's going)
Finish another load of laundry
Vacuum/dust guest room for guest and maybe put in some fresh flowers
Get haircut
Cook dinner
Go to bed at 5:30!!!

Have a great day - sun or rain!!!!
Sandy: Keep up the good work.
Sheryl: Great news on the fundraising. Way to go your whole family and your friends!
Alicia: Good luck with walking the track. I know I enjoy walking outside inside of just on the treadmill at the gym (except when it's below zero or snowing!)
Ursulinda: We'll miss you. Let us know when you return.
Bookwood: I ALWAYS get lost in my mind - such a big place! - especially get lost dreaming of DW!!! Nothing wrong with that!
Miss B: You're doing so great - we're all very proud of you. Wish I was doing as well but no weight coming off. Maybe I'll go on a water only diet (and move the bed closer to the potty!)
Tinkerbell: Good luck still with the job hunt. I know what it's like to have fibro and the restrictions you have to watch out for to stay healthy. You'll find that job - will keep sending job dust your way.

Another long day at work. Did fine eating. Going to take a long walk after dinner. Need to do a few things around the house tonight.

Miss Bianca -- way to go!

Everybody is doing great -- even if the world doesn't seem to be cooperating (sorry Cinderella)

Gotta run!

Glad to report another good day here. Ali and I are back on track! I am mostly packed and ready to head to the beach. Can't wait to relax. Mom and I are going to go down to Charleston for the day too. I have always wanted to tour that beautiful city. We are hoping to have lunch in one of the pretty little garden restaurants there.

Looks like so many of us are enthused and are back on our programs. That is so GREAT!! I know the warm weather has really improved my overall mood and outlook.

Simple goals for me, healthy food choices and plenty of water. Hope to start into a great exercise program when I get back.
