Great morning Healthinators! It's wet here too Cinderella. We had a few thunder bumpers last night but not bad. You are always doing things for other people, today try to take some time to do something nice for you. You are so sweet!

LeiasMom- I don't use a pedometer although I do have one. I do Walk Away the Pounds which is walking in place inside which keeps pace for me. Outside I use a walking tape (Let Your Feet... Walk to the Beat) which keeps track of my pace and miles. I used the tapes for my 1/2 Marathon training last year and will use them again this year. It works for me!

Today I will

Eat healthy

Drink only water and lots of it

Walk Away the Pounds

Keep my focus...so far so good.

Together we WILL succeed! Focus on your goals, it will be worth it.

It's a soggy morning here too. Sure wish I could shake this cold and that my breathing would improve so I could start my exercise program. The eating is under control at least!

Today will be busy getting ready for my beach vacation. I will sorely miss Ali, she is the best vacation companion! My mom will be going with me and I am sure we will have a great time. I am so happy to be able to spend some time with her just doing as we please without worrying about anyone but ourselves.

Goals for today
take a nap
grocery shop for healthy foods so Ali can stick to her program while I'm gone
start loading the car with my beach necessities

Good morning everyone! :theWave: The sun is shining here and it looks like it will be a gorgeous day.

I'm so excited. My In-laws are interested in finding a condo somewhere in Florida (but not in Orlando :( ) so tehy are making plans to stay down there next winter to try out a few places. They booked a condo for a month and asked us to come stay with them for Easter. So we have our Hershey meet coming up, then Disney for two weeks, Disney again in January for the 1/2 marathon, and then a week at Easter in Fort Myers. And then our Disney Cruise in August 2005! I may need to get a second job, or maybe just cut back on my shopping expeditions :? .

Not getting much done around the house lately. It looks clean, but I know we are in need of our spring scrub down. I like to take one room at a time and scrub it down completely, walls and all. I'm thinking of starting in the boys rooms, because I've let them slide a little with keeping it clean looking, but you don't dare open a drawer or closet. .

Todays goals are same as always, water, healthy food, and get something done.

Claire, I agree you are so sweet and I can't wait to finally meet you!

Pixie, I just remembered, you sent me that tape and it is in my car. I did like it and need to get it back from Terry. Thank you again. :flowers:

Chris, you are my traveling idol! I want to travel like you! Glad your back on track. :notworthy:

Sandy, Beware of those wheat thins, they are addicting, but can really hurt you later.

Hope everyone else is doing well, and hioope you all ahve a wonderful day! :circle:

Home for lunch today. Eating my slimfast shells & cheese. It's actually better (and more filling) than I would have thought.

Barbara, that sounds interesting. Glad it is working for you. I'd love to do a 1/2 marathon. . .

Dropped another pound. That makes a total of 12 pounds. I still have 24 pounds to my absolute ideal weight (19 pounds to what DH says would be "skinny"). So, I'm nowhere close to half way even, but it's a good start.

Goals for today:

1. Get lots done at work.
2. Eat healthily
3. Exercise
4. Go to my mom's to do her errands
5. Spend some time with the family.

I'm taking off work Monday and Tuesday so DH can get lots of work done (he is the work at home dad). I need the break.

Have a great day everyone!

:tink: Morning all, late check in. Had my job interview today & it went well, but they're interviewing the rest of the week & will let everyone know if they're coming back for a second interview by the end of next week. I only have two outfits so I hope they don't have more than two interviews. I interviewed for over an hour. Maybe I impressed.. :dazzle: but I've had better interviews. This one went well, but there are alot of good things about the job, but I get the impression that you have to float to alot of other sites. That's a real downside in CA because of the traffic.

Didn't start my water until after my interview for obvious reasons. I've already gotten 24 oounces in though. :D Today is a gorgeous :sun: day and I'd like to get out into it 8) and enjoy it.

Goals for today:

Drink my water :D

Eat smart :D

Get some walking in :walk:

Get some more resumes out. :bee:

Have a grea day everyone! Keep your eye on the goal. :tink:

 Almost forgot...congrats to LeiasMom for her loss. Good going, one step at a time.

Hi, all! Always glad to hear from you through wheat thins and weight things ;)

I walked farther than I have in a long, long time yesterday. Now if I could only reach my back to pat it. And I'm ploughing ahead in my surgery requirements :D.

Need to drink a big more water. Snacking is down to half what it used to be and meals eaten out are down to less than half. So progress is being made.

Leia's Mom, "skinny" is quite a goal! You're doing so well!

I should upload one of my "skinny" pictures somewhere to show y'all.

Haven't been here in awhile - computer issues.

Doing good. I undid all the damage I did in Boston. Problem is now I'm going to WDW next week! Oh well, it is an unexpected trip and I've about used up all my money on the plane, hotel, and AP so I won't be able to splurge on food this trip. Well, unless of course my DD treats me. But she will be working most of the time I'm there so not much time for that.

At least one day I'll be cooking at her house because I told her that I would come and make her a couple of batches of the awesome low carb coconut chocolate dessert so she could have extra to freeze. So I know that day I'll eat right. Besides that I'm going to do my best to not get too crazy. But I think I will have to at least have my favorite ice cream cookie sandwich from The Main Street Bakery.

BTW Sheryl, my mother lives in Ft Myers, but I don't think I'll be there for Easter. My sister owns a real nice condo in Bonita right down the road from Ft Myers. The best beaches are at nearby Sanibel/Captiva Island.

They plan on returning for their one year anniversary & plan to start a family...asked them not to name their child, Sanibel, it would be too weird.
